This part time role during my coursework at OU primarily focused on enhancing the International Business Consulting Program experience. In this program, visiting executives from the Latin America Institute of Business engage in a highly interactive leadership development program led by instructors from the OU College of Business.  

As a member of the student team, I supported the program across areas of event planning and execution, financial operations and reporting, and course delivery.

Additionally, I supported faculty research in leadership model development, performance management, effective coaching, employee engagement, and identifying high performing talent.

In addition to Ticket Salesperson responsibilities noted below, this role primarily focused on communicating and forecasting with Prime Social Group ownership and sales leadership, direct leadership of 4 ticket salespeople, and developing a national brand presence through event marketing. By capitalizing on influencer engagement and management, on-campus advertising, and social media presence and outreach, I was able to exceed previously established sales records by selling over 600 tickets in 4 months.

Supporting Numbers Fest, the largest collegiate music festival in the nation at the time, I was responsible for a breadth of activities in a sales and marketing capacity. This primarily included selling tickets to college students both nationally and locally via social media presence and outreach, and phone correspondence. In turn, I was able to significantly surpass the existing ticket sales record for the organization.

Utilizing 84.51’s proprietary suite of analytical tools, I leveraged a sample representative of the Kroger population to understand shopper engagement across various segmentations including digital, demographic, and lifestyle profiles. Through data analysis and research of competitive grocery landscape, I translated insights into significant incremental and actionable ROI opportunities for project and business stakeholders.

Developing and piloting the Halo Sales Internship position in tandem, I supported Enterprise SAAS Representatives through prospecting activities and both virtual and on site product demonstrations. In addition to enterprise sales support, I executed 4 new mid-market contracts through rapid solution comprehension and sales process completion in less than 20 weeks. 

Projects outside of traditional selling activities included buyer persona development, sales and marketing message refinement, adoption and implementation efficacy, and commercial on-boarding process implementation.

SAAS Sales Intern

Joining SalesCORE as the organization’s first intern, I attended customer interactions to facilitate seamless end to end project completions. During customer meetings I assisted in the evaluation of, and contributed insight to sales models and processes, messaging, leadership styles, and compensation philosophies to foster customer’s sales growth. In parallel, this included communicating internally to translate client meeting outcomes into various presentations, datasets, and deliverables. While conducting client work, I oversaw various internal projects including the construction of a social media plan through content writing and topic generation, and the development of new service offerings from ideation to solution delivery. At the conclusion of the internship I assisted in the formation of the intern program for the future and evaluated potential candidates for the role.
