Founder of Rosebloom Headwear. I make hats but I actually sell Representation. 

Neurospicy AF. I reject the premise. I see the world in solutions. I will talk AT GREAT LENGTH but everything I do is in the name of efficiency or making things easier. Hats are just the start. If you are dying to be a product designer but lack creativity and want to fund the 2390592384759 ideas I have, HOLLA.

I used to say "You'll have to get used to me." Now I say, "You need to align with me." I am the mix of being raised by an MVP single mom in a low-income, scrappy little town in Beaver County PA, a couple decades of killer business acumen through a host of badass mentors in B2B and B2C, and a crushing need to fix everyday issues that the general population unconsciously accepts with no consideration for how it could be.

I was that girl slangin' your french toast at Denny's at 3am.

I have worked my way through every version of retail, food service, people and product management you can think of both on the ground and in leadership. I was the manager up and down the aisles at the pharmacy, executing floor sets, flowing trucks, managing teams and schedules, coordinating departments.

 I was the DM running hot market for every special event, training new managers, writing training manuals, and opening new divisions.

I was the National Account Manager finding sales and margin through relational selling and education in the process. I blew through my way to Director of National.

I am still keeping my feet wet in National Facilities with ProxyPics, the company that patently redefined property data collection with real-time visibility. What can I say? Its hard to leave things you love and ProxyPics will continue to bring visibility technology solutions to the Real Estate and Facilities Management community that save time, effort, and expenses.

The common theme? The Bun. It was genesis of all things Rosebloom Headwear, which has become a brand not about me or my hair, but about individuality, inclusiveness, intersectionality, and correcting the inherent racism and misogyny that exist in headwear.

Why does your back always hurt?



Me: 18 hours a day

This dude needs my holes.



"I don't get your hats. Can't they just make their hair fit?

I don't have enough chins or deodorant.

Neither does this dude.

I had my IUD surgically removed yesterday and here’s what it taught me about B2B sales.


Please light a candle. We’re going in.

Over the past 8 months, my IUD decided it no longer aligned with my uterus’ long-term vision. It dislodged from my uterus, migrated to my cervical canal, reattached to the wrong tissue and fully embedded itself, strings and all. 

It built infrastructure, refused to pivot. This required surgical intervention. And naturally, as a serious business professional, I reflected on the lessons.

Alignment matters. If your product isn’t seated properly in the right environment, it will absolutely drift into chaos.

Migration without strategy is not “innovation.” It’s just wandering. When something embeds itself in the wrong place, ignoring it does not make it disruptive. It makes it expensive.

The right team matters. From imaging to consults to surgery, every single person involved was calm, thorough, and wildly competent. Systems working. Communication tight. No ego. Just execution. Shoutout to my hilarious OB, the entire surgical floor and team at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, and Highmark who do this every single day like it’s just another Thursday.

What actually hit me hardest wasn’t the procedure. It was the process. When something is wrong in your body, you can spiral or you can see it through to resolution. You gather information. You ask better questions. You escalate when needed. You trust expertise. You don’t ghost your own health.

Very uncommon issue. Very uncommon path - this happens to less than 1% of IUD users, according to my OB. 

The best part? Very resolved.

Anyway.

If you see me a little slower and looking like I haven't brushed my hair, just know I successfully managed a multi-month internal stakeholder crisis and achieved surgical-level alignment. 

Would not recommend, but manageable if placed in the situation.

Not sure who won but.... anesthesia is funny. 

If anyone needs me the rest of the day... I'll be on the couch watching the 4th season of The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix.

Not sure if Mercy Health in Boardman has the best apple juice or if I was just really thirsty 😂

I have never wanted to spank a loaf of bread before. 



But then Katie Ryder sent me a home made loaf of raisin bread all the way from Alabama.

And... DAMN. You would give it an aggressive pat down too.

This loaf is like nothing I've ever seen or tasted before. Cinnamon and raisin ecstasy.

Bread so good, it makes me want to do good things for other people too. Because that's who Katie is. It's just in her nature. She is literally a gem of a human with the soul of a saint. 

She baked a part of her good deed doing and her beautiful soul into that bread. And I couldn't be more thankful for her friendship.

I went to a small high school north of Pittsburgh.  I credit BIG BEAVER FALLS AREA SD and The City of Beaver Falls for being a catalyst in forming Rosebloom Headwear.


I talk a lot about the people, too. 

I talk about how we were small-town kids. We all knew each other. We knew each other's siblings. We knew who lived downtown and who lived up on College Hill. We knew your parents or your Auntie or your Grandma or your Cousin or who you were staying with and we called them what you called them unless instructed otherwise.

Because in Beaver Falls, it has always been about culture and respect. Todd called his Mom Ma'am, so you did too.

Amanda lived with her Nana and Pop Pop up on The Hill and her sister lived with their Mom, who they both called Dierdra, so we all followed suit. 

And when your friends get their hair done on the weekends in their Auntie or their cousin or their friend's sister's kitchen, you sit with them and watch Disney movies and help with their take down, or separate hair for braids, or learn not to make them laugh when the hot comb is real close to her scalp.

You make yourself useful while Scuttle tries to figure out what's different with Ariel, you know?

Guy Ruff III was one of my class mates. And he is still making culture happen in Beaver Falls and in Beaver County PA through his skills as a photographer, painter and mural artist. He's also an amazing family man, continuing the culture for another generation with his wife, who I also happen to be a big fan of 👏 

Every time I see one of his posts on LinkedIn or traditional social, it reminds me of where I came from and how important recognizing the culture that brought me up is to doing the BIG THINGS I want to do in life.

I'm doing mine. Guy is doing his. I hope you're doing yours.
