Most career books are written to appeal to the largest audience possible. This is not one of them. Creator Capitalist is not for kids. It is exclusively for executives who (already) have the goods.

4) Intellectual Capital: Your "obvious" thinking is someone else's breakthrough. If you don't put your best ideas out there in your name, someone else will.

Social Media Influencers rent attention from platforms that can evict them anytime. Creator Capitalists build a category, own their intellectual capital, and turn different thinking into an economic engine that compounds whether the algorithm smiles or not. 

One is famous on the internet.
The other is dangerous in the market.

The Worst Response To AI? Hunker Down. A lot of smart people are reacting to AI like this:

•“I’ll work harder.”
•“I’ll stack more skills.”
•“I’ll out-execute the machines.”

That instinct feels responsible.
It worked for decades.

For 30 years, you were rewarded for:

I still remember the moment it hit much-younger-and-less-jaded me.

I was early in my first real corporate job, surrounded by spreadsheets, strategy decks, and people who seemed to know exactly what they were doing, when a quiet epiphany stopped me mid-thought:

"Oh my gosh… I'm actually getting paid to think."

Not to lift. Not to harvest. To "think".

(Pretty novel, compared to the irrigation ditches I was digging the year before.)

That realization changed everything about how I showed up at work. I started treating my mind like the asset it was.

Fast forward a few decades, and Christopher Lochhead 🇺🇸🇮🇱🏴‍☠️ nails it better than I ever could:

To ask questions no one is asking. To frame problems no one sees yet. To create categories, not just fill roles.

This is the shift from Knowledge Worker to what the Category Pirates call the "Creator Capitalist." Someone who doesn't just use AI as a shortcut, but as a lever for thinking that didn't exist before.

The people who thrive in the next chapter won't be the ones with the most answers.

They'll be the ones with the most dangerous questions.

So ask yourself, as I'm asking myself now: Are you still getting paid to know, or are you getting paid to think?

That's when it clicked.

I thought I was just "coaching for growth."

But I was actually designing categories.

46% of Americans have a negative view of AI. Not surprising. Every new civilization-level category starts the same way. Fear.
•Electricity.
•The automobile.
•The internet.

At the beginning, people don’t see opportunity.
They feel afraid.

And to be fair. 
They’re not (completely) wrong.
Every one of those technologies destroyed old ways of working.

•Real jobs disappeared.
•Real careers got disrupted.
•Entire categories of companies and careers vanished.

As a matter of fact. 
60% of white collar knowledge worker jobs today. 
Did not exist in 1940.

AI is no different.
The fear is rational. 
But. 

Here’s what that 46% is actually sensing:
The economic model they built their careers on is breaking.

For 40 years, the economy rewarded the Executive Knowledge Worker.

Your value came from:
• what you knew
• what you could analyze
• what lived inside your head

Companies bought your knowledge.
You sold your time.

AI doesn’t make knowledge worthless.
But it makes knowledge cheap.

And when something becomes cheap.
Value migrates.

Today we drop Creator Capitalist. If you grew up in startup land, you get trained to ship. Early and often. And here’s the truth: Creator Capitalist took way longer than we thought it would. 3 years to be exact.  That used to piss me (and Eddie Yoon) off. Now we're glad.

Creator Capitalist FORCED to take our time. 
Designing, a new career lens for thriving in the post AI -- is no small goal.

Aiming to frame, name and claim what come's after (the legendary Peter Drucker's) knowledge worker category is daunting.

We did primary research.
We included 1000s of people.
We interviewed 100s of people.
We produced dozens of podcasts.
We built a course and ran it for a year. 
We wrote dozens of mini-book newsletters.
We got a 💩 ton of help from (many) legendary people.

Going deep.
And at the same time.
Feeling a massive sense of urgency.

At times we hated this project.
It was taking LONG.
It was so big.

But if we had "just" shipped.
Creator Capitalist: it would have been a book.

Instead, it's a new category. 
That over the course of a year became a movement.

Today 1 in 3 US adults says they want to be a creator capitalist.
This book is now the most anticipated career book of 2026.
This blows our minds.

Somewhere along the way, we realized:
This isn’t our book.
(It never was.)

On October 6th. 2023 in Tehran and Gaza, there were evil men who believed history was theirs to take. 

They believed Israel (the “little Satan”) could be broken.
 They believed America (the “big Satan”) was a pxssy. 

They believed terror was the right strategy.

October 7th proved something else:
 -Terror can start a war. -It cannot control how it ends.

President Biden’s message to Iran was one word: “Don’t.”

Iran did. 
Thought the US was a paper tiger. 

What followed wasn’t the destruction of Israel.
 It wasn’t the collapse of American courage. 

It was a brutal reminder of a law as old as geopolitics:

When you attack a sovereign state backed by a superpower, you invite consequences.

In less than three years:
• Hamas’ is shattered • Hezbollah’s is disemboweled 
• Iran’s regional influence exposed, pressured, and destroyed 

The theory that violence plus fanaticism equals victory failed.

Deterrence isn’t a slogan.
It requires consequences. 

They thought they could brutalize their women and kill 30,000 of their people and we’d do nothing. 

The Middle East now stands at a seminal moment.
 Because the cost of terror has been made unmistakably clear.

Peace does not emerge from wishful thinking.
 It (only) happens when adversaries calculate that war is too expensive.

(Anyone who confronted a school yard bully knows this. It’s primordial)
 Pray for Iran.
Pray for Israel.  Pray for the United States. Pray for the peace loving, legendary people of the Middle East.

And understand this:
Peace (enduring peace) only comes through strength.

History will tell us if this attack of Iran was wise. 

No American wants a new forever war. 

And what we do know.

-Barack Obama

All said. 
Iran can not have a nuclear bomb. 

Now they don’t.
