I'm Walid, and I'm the Founder & CEO of 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮. We are an E-Commerce Growth Agency and our mission is to help propel Pet brands forward, and ensure our little companions live long and happy lives! 🐾

As an animal-loving entrepreneur, who has raised pets his whole life, I have devoted myself to helping pet owners discover these brands that can help them achieve the one thing that every pet parent wants; keeping our pets happy and healthy!

As I stepped back and looked at the industry, it became clear that many pet brands are fighting an uphill battle trying to attract new customers. They might have amazing products or offer services that give them the potential to become market leaders in this space, but they still struggle to get noticed because they neglect their digital marketing.

The obstacles that pet business owners are accustomed to, combined with my ability to effectively implement marketing strategies have led me to establish Plathera Media.

A few weeks ago, Vukasin Vukosavljevic invited me out to Belgrade for unlockit conference.

I wasn’t sure I’d make it at first, but I’m very glad I did. It was a great event.

So great that this was the only photo I took the whole trip - mid-rant about how travelling with nothing but a backpack is the way to go.

Most companies are completely blind to what their market is actually saying.

Conversations about their product, competitors, and category are happening every day across LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, podcasts, and YouTube.

But most teams never see any of it.

Most messaging is based on internal theory instead - a few brainstorms, some guesswork, and sometimes a bit of customer feedback.

Which is funny when you consider that there are companies spending tens of thousands every month on R&D just to "understand" their customers...

Meanwhile their buyers are openly talking about their problems, frustrations and how their currently solving them, in public 😂

But anyway, that's why I'm super excited about the new MCP integration Trigify.io launched.

It basically lets you ask Claude questions about your market and pull in real conversations happening across the internet - almost like having a representative of your audience sitting in the room with you.

Still playing around with it, but I can already see this being so useful for writing campaigns for my clients and generally understanding their markets better.

Claude Code is everywhere on my feed these days.

But most people only use it to build small one-off apps, scripts, or brittle automations.

This Wednesday I'll be joined by Riccardo Vandra to talk about how to build what he calls "Workspaces"; which are evolving systems, not one-off projects. 

We’ll talk about:
➤ how to build a workspace of systems
➤ using those systems to scrape, send and track
➤ how he sees the space evolving with tools like this

This one will be a bit more hands-on than usual, but still casual enough and open to everyone who wants to jump in and ask questions.

Running cold email used to be simple.

Teams would hire a BDR, give them a list, write a few emails, and send them out every day. That worked for a long time, mainly because the environment around it was much simpler.

Today it's a different story.

Cold email is still one of the best channels for B2B companies to reach their TAM while controlling messaging. But the way it's run has changed. What used to be a single skill with a few tasks has quietly turned into its own function.

Most outbound teams now end up dealing with four different buckets:

1️⃣ Strategy:
Who you're contacting, why them, and what angle you're using.

2️⃣ Infrastructure:
Inbox setup, domains, warmup, and the overall sending environment.

3️⃣ Execution:
Copy, sequences, testing angles, follow-ups.

4️⃣ Performance:
Monitoring campaigns, adjusting schedules, rotating inboxes, etc.

None of these pieces are new, but they have each turned into their own skillsets rather than the simple tasks they once were, which is why expecting BDRs to own email A-Z no longer works.

They should focus on what they will always be best at, like cold calling. But not email. One person simply cannot manage what is now a whole system.

All this said, for teams that run internal email functions (or agencies), this is why I found Smartlead's SmartAgents so interesting. You can create an agent to do nearly anything, like:

➤ monitor reply rates
➤ analyze inbox health
➤ suggest campaigns
... all inside the sequencer!

You still need to know how to use it properly, but it simplifies a lot of the performance and monitoring layer that is usually ignored or handled manually.
