It's not that your content isn't good.

Protect your time at all costs.

Don't spend it doing anything that doesn't add to your bottom line (besides family, health, non-profit, etc).

Anything else is a distraction.
And you need to treat it as such.

Protected time = protected energy.

Be selfish for a while. 

Because no one is throwing millions at you.

You've got to make that for yourself.

With the verrrry limited time you have.

PS: Tell me. What is your biggest distraction?

"If I just find the right strategy, I'll make money."

That's literally what everyone here is thinking.

But if 15+ years in business has taught me anything, there's no one (main) strategy that will help you make money on Linkie. 

In reality, you need to do 3 things:

1) Master your positioning
2) Post content that speaks to your ICP
3) Fill your DMs & comments with messages from your ICP

^ That's literally it.

Easy? No. 

Doable? Absolutely. 

Just ask the top creators in places where the average salary is less than $3k a month. And they're hitting 6 and 7-figs.

So, if anything, please stop looking for a magic strategy.

And start speaking and connecting with your ICP.

You need to understand why you're here.

That's the first step.

And most people are completely getting this wrong. 

They build and post content for themselves.

With little thought about the overall strategy itself.

But it's simple, if you break it down:

Job seeker → You want to promote your skills/expertise.
Business owner →  Speak to the problems of your ICP.

Then, sprinkle in your personal content. 

Content strategy doesn't have to be complicated.

Write for your audience and you'll start winning more.

Last May 2025, I was laid off from Deloitte.
It crushed me.

My confidence vanished overnight.
My self-worth collapsed.
Fear took over.

I couldn’t sleep well.
I couldn’t think clearly.
I couldn’t breathe some days.

I was terrified about the future.
About money.
About feeding my family.
About my three kids.

I was clinically diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression.

On the outside, I looked “fine.”
On the inside, I was falling apart.

Fast forward to today.
January 25, 2026.

That sentence still feels unreal.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞:

1️⃣ 𝑨𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 when you commit fully your mind, heart, and soul.

But they break you quietly.

Today is one of those days.

For the past year,
I’ve been living in a situation I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

Three tenants living in my rental house.
No rent. No utilities.
No intention to leave.

Twelve months of silence.
Twelve months of stress.

I’m now $30,000 in debt because of them.

But the money wasn’t the worst part.

It was the anxiety.
The constant knot in my chest.
The sleepless nights replaying the same thoughts.

How did this happen?
How do I protect my family?
How much more can I take?

From the outside, I looked fine.
On the inside, I was unraveling.

This situation chipped away at my peace.
It tested my mental health.
It strained my relationships.

And then something shifted.

I realized I was living everywhere 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭.
Trapped in the past I couldn’t change.

But I do know this:
I survived the waiting.

I had the best start to my morning today.

We just wrapped Week 1

Does your career feel stuck… and unable to move?

This morning, I stepped outside to a shock.
Four feet of snow overnight.

My car was gone.
Completely buried.
Frozen in place.

And instantly, I thought of job seekers right now.

Buried under rejections.
Application after application.
Silence. Ghosting. Doubt.

I hear the same pain every day.

“𝘐’𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.”
“𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨?”

Here’s what I’m seeing behind the struggle:

First. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭.
Rejections crush self-belief.
Imposter syndrome quietly takes over.
