If carbs made people fat, Japan would be the most overweight nation in the world.

Japanese people eat 3 servings of white rice daily. That is, 55-60% of calories from carbs. And still they are standing tall at 4% obesity rate and boast very high life expectancy.

On the other end, America screams "CARBS ARE EVIL!" while sitting at 42% obesity.
India is at 23-25%. Blaming rice, chapati and idli for weight gain.

Same carbs. Different outcomes. 
Because it was never about the rice. It was never about insulin spikes or carb timing or glycemic index.

Basically, eating too much while moving too little makes you fat.

But that's not an attractive reason. That doesn't sell diet books or supplements or 12-week transformation programs.

So people invented enemies: carbs, gluten, insulin. Japan ignored it all. Kept eating rice. Stayed lean. Lived long.

The answer was never in macronutrient wars.
It is in fundamentals: sleep 7-8 hours, walk 8,000 steps, lift heavy things twice weekly, manage stress, eat appropriate portions and be consistent for years.

Boring? Yes.
Effective? Ask Japan.

Your chapati or rice isn't the villain.
Your unwillingness to address the real issues is.

I forgive you if you are lactose-intolerant. But not if you are logic-intolerant.

Ouch.🙁
The kind of ouch you feel in your chest.

I had the results.
I had the clients.
I had the momentum.
But I didn’t have a place that backed all of that up.

That night, I stopped overthinking and built the website for Influencer Connect.

I watched only 35 minutes of the Elon Musk × Nikhil Kamath podcast… and my founder brain has not stopped spinning.
(Will watch the rest after finishing today’s work — clearly I’m 5 million views late 😂)

But here’s what hit me the hardest:
Elon said, “Energy is the true currency.”
And for a moment, everything paused.
As founders we obsess over money, revenue, profitability, runway, but no one tells us that the real progress of a civilization (and of a startup) is how efficiently we convert energy into meaningful work.

Then came the second mind-bender:
“AI will build AI.”
If production becomes infinite…
If AI touches every industry…
If money stops holding the same kind of value…

I genuinely asked myself ⬇️
Then why are we working so hard?
But 10 minutes later, the answer unfolded.

What he really meant was this:
AI is solving things we once considered “big problems”,
saving time, reducing effort, optimising everything.
In a world where labour becomes effortless, the only thing that will matter is how much energy we can harness and direct.

That’s where he introduced the Kardashev Scale: a concept I had heard of but never connected to entrepreneurship:
• Type 1: What % of your planet’s energy are you using for productive work?
• Type 2: What % of your sun’s energy can you harness?
(And beyond that is Type 3… but that’s a story for the future.)
And somewhere between these cosmic calculations, he switched to spirituality.
That’s when I paused and told myself:
Okay… this part I’m saving for another day.

But here’s my takeaway as a startup founder:
Money may fluctuate.
But energy, how we manage it, channel it, and protect it: will define everything we build.

Today, I’m viewing my work through a completely different lens.
Not “How much can I earn?”
But “How much energy can I convert into meaningful progress today?"

I still remember the exact moment I realised “𝗢𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗱… 𝗜’𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲.” 

7 December 2021.
My first day.
No experience.
Just a girl who grew up watching movies, admiration over artists and dreaming silently inside her head.

By the end of that very first day, I was already asked to do something that felt 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 than me⬇️
𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣.

I ran upstairs to make call after call, pitched confidently, negotiated deliverables… and somehow, I cracked most of them.
And then, while walking back to the office floor, it hit me like a wave:

“𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗺𝘆𝗮, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴… 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁.”

Inside me, a tiny 5-year-old was screaming with joy
“𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲.”

That 6-month internship felt like living in a movie.
Every brief, every email, every campaign… I carried that little girl with me.

Even after my contract ended and I changed multiple jobs, her voice never stopped.
And one day, it became louder than all my doubts,
𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻.

💥 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀

I once had to call a very famous actor
 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 (yes, Special Ops fame).
I was prepared for his manager to pick up…
The phone rang for 25 long seconds…

And then:
“𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤?”

Not the manager.
Not the assistant.
𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗺.

For a second, I genuinely forgot how to breathe.
But somehow, I handled the entire conversation normally discussing deliverables, pricing, timelines as if I wasn’t internally fainting.

The moment I walked back inside the office, my colleagues took one look at my face and burst out laughing.
They knew.
They knew this was my dream moment.

✨ 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝟱-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲.

Dreams don’t disappear.

then something is off.

Initially, I used to believe all this advice was 𝗳𝗮𝗸𝗲
because I was a beginner, still figuring things out.

But here’s the truth I learned the hard way 👇

When you launch a service, the needle must 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗼-𝗲𝗻𝗱.
𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 → 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 → 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

For a long time, I kept looping between
*𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 → 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 → 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀
and wondered why nothing converted.

The problem wasn’t the service.
It wasn’t the market.
It was my 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹.

you’re just staying busy, not building revenue.

Not many people talk about this openly.
I had no one to tell me this then,

🤯 I Just Realised Something About “New Ideas”… and It Actually Hurt a Little

Can I be honest?

I’ve spent YEARS writing down “great ideas” in my notes app.
App ideas. Marketing ideas. Product ideas.
Hundreds of them.

And today… I realised most of them hold zero value now.
Not because they were bad.
But because AI solved the problems before I could.

Let me explain.

☕ A small example that triggered this whole thought:

Last year, I actually noted an idea:

“An app that summarises YouTube videos so people don’t waste 30 minutes watching.”

Guess what?
YouTube literally does that now.
AI tools summarise anything you throw at them.

So if I built that today, I would be solving a problem that already disappeared.

That’s when it hit me:

💥 We’re trying to solve yesterday’s problems in a world that is solving tomorrow.

And that’s why so many “startup ideas” feel outdated the moment we think of them.

AI is not waiting.
AI is not moving slowly.
AI is basically saying:

“You think this is a problem? Don’t worry, I’ll fix it in the next update.”

So where does that leave us?

🧠 The real question we should be asking:

What problems will people face 3 years from now, in an AI-saturated world?

Not today.
Not last year.
Not 6 months ago.

Because AI is already solving today on autopilot.

That’s the mindset shift I had today and it shook me.

Four Years. One Wild Journey. And a Completely Different Me. ✨

On 7th December 2021, I stepped into my first marketing job…
with zero prior experience, no background, no guidance, nothing.

Bas ek thought tha,“I want to do something meaningful… and I never want to say ‘I wish I had…’ in life.”
And today, 7 December 2025, I’m sitting here with:

💼 My own registered company
🎯 Clients across D2C & Education
📈 End-to-end marketing projects
🤝 Influencer Connect thriving stronger than ever
❤️ And a career that finally “fits” me🧿

Honestly… 4 years felt like a roller coaster.

From doing an internship at a renowned EdTech →
to joining another EdTech as a Digital Marketing Executive →
to learning from mentors who truly shaped my direction →
to handling managerial responsibilities →
and then building my own business from scratch…

It’s been messy, scary, overwhelming, beautiful, all at the same time.

But the one platform that silently carried me through?

LinkedIn.
This place gave me opportunities, mentors, clients, and confidence when I had nothing else.

And if I start tagging people… the list will never end.
So to everyone reading this, truly, from my heart, thank you.
For supporting, appreciating, noticing, guiding… even silently.

2 years ago even I used to think:

more followers = more price
less followers = less price

And here’s the hidden truth no one talks about:

Slow websites kill conversions, influencer ki performance blame mat karo.

I learned this the hard way.

Yesterday, I got a call about unfinished business from November.

Back then, an app founder had approached me.
The plan seemed simple.
Small creators in India.
Lifestyle niche.
Instagram posts at ₹4K each.

I thought, “𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙.”

But then things changed.

The founder said, “We actually want users in the US.”

I froze for a second.
One US micro creator charges $𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹 
That’s more than six times the ₹4K we were planning for India.
My neat plan suddenly didn’t fit.

A few days later, the conversation paused because the app was being upgraded.
I spent that time reviewing numbers, checking creators, and brainstorming new approaches.

And yesterday, the call resumed.

Now, the goal wasn’t just awareness.
It was app downloads, iOS and Play Store installs.

Traditional influencer marketing?
It wasn’t going to cut it.

I had to rethink everything.

Performance-based approach.

And suddenly, the plan started to make sense.

I remember leaning back in my chair, thinking, “𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗻𝗼𝘄.”

New goal.
New plan.
New numbers.

But then it clicked.

Strategy isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s about 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.

This wasn’t failure.
This was the work I’ve always wanted.
The kind that challenges you, teaches you, and forces you to think clearly.

Instead of asking,
“Why is this getting harder?”

I asked myself,
“What do we solve next?”

And that’s the lesson for anyone working on app growth:

- 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀.
- 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀.
- 𝗕𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Now, my responsibility is clear.
Follow the founder’s brief.
Serve their needs.
Deliver results.

It’s also a reminder: trust is earned.
The founder chose us over others.
It’s my job to honor that.
That’s what Karma has taught me:
