How I Got Here (the short version)

I bootstrapped my first studio, building gamified products, then drove it into the ground through sheer hustle and zero alignment. The resulting burnout forced a hard reset: work had to become a path to enlightenment, not a treadmill.

That quest led me to cooperative ownership at Camplight, where we build tech the same way we live—collaboratively, transparently, and with skin in the game. I’ve since:

Over the past 14+ years, my professional journey in startups and scale-ups has deepened my expertise in consulting, venture building, product development, and digital transformation. Striving for innovation and strategic vision, I have built and led creative teams across Germany, Switzerland, Asia, and the Middle East. My work focuses on human-centered solutions, collaborative approaches, and measurable outcomes to create value for businesses, customers, and markets.

But my story holds more. Experiencing Africa's nature and human challenges, such as the immediate impacts of climate change and the inequality faced by Indigenous minorities, has shifted my focus toward meaningful work that aligns with environmental and social sustainability. From conceptualizing climate-smart agriculture systems in sub-Saharan Africa to building a database for projects at the intersection of innovation, indigenous knowledge, and sustainability, this perspective enriches my approach to business and technology—revealing opportunities to Engineer a Better Tomorrow.
