BII partnered with retailers of home improvement products such as light fixtures, faucets, ceiling fans, etc, to provide their customers with installation services. When a consumer purchased a product and opted to "buy it installed", BII would match the consumer with a contractor in their area to perform the installation. The matching was largely automated but sometimes required BII's recruiter team to find and sign up new contractors to fulfill workorders. The company went out of business in 2022.
