This is actually me in 2017, standing in my crypto mining room. It is a personal story of a person who went through a very similar cycle, and yes, it is not the first GPU rush we are navigating.

Right now, the timeline is flooded with founders obsessing over buying hardware to run personal AI agents. Everyone wants a Mac Studio or a high-end workstation to run Kimi (Moonshot AI) K2.5 or MiniMax M2.5 locally to cut API costs.

This is a trap. If you watch Liliana Pertenava documentary Crypto Rush, you will recognize the exact vibe of the 2017 crypto boom. History is cyclical. Back then, I built a massive crypto mining farm at home with 50+ GPUs. 

Here is the reality of that "investment":

• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹: It was a logistical nightmare. To stay competitive, I had to constantly purchase new hardware every 1-2 months. 
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀: The actual money was not made by the miners. It was made by the hardware manufacturers and infrastructure providers selling the picks and shovels.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆: History proved it was infinitely more profitable to simply buy Bitcoin directly in mid-2017 or bottom-pick after the 2018 crash. 

Fast forward to the current personal AI rush. People are making the exact same miscalculation.

P2S is designed for startups in the early stages with MVP and first traction and focuses on the following industries: B2B / SaaS, FinTech, AI, Future of Work, Productivity Tools, Digital Health, HR Tech.
