Hi, I’m Amaan.

I’m the Founder of the Canadian Digital Marketing Summit (CDM Summit) — a growing series of live events designed to educate, elevate, and empower marketers across Canada.

Over the past few years, I’ve built summits in multiple cities, connecting 1,000+ marketers, speakers from global brands like TikTok, Google, and the Vancouver Canucks, and dozens of agencies, freelancers, and business owners.

Before launching CDM Summit, I transformed HQ Workspaces — a small coworking space in Coquitlam — into a thriving entrepreneurial hub, leveraging automation, fair pricing, and community building.

Didn’t expect to be writing this yet, but here we are.

CDM Summit Victoria is down to the final 20 tickets.

What’s been cool to see is who those tickets have gone to over the last couple weeks. A real mix of marketers, creators, founders, students, and people genuinely curious about where digital is heading in 2026. That’s exactly the room I hoped for when we decided to bring the Summit back to Victoria.

This isn’t a massive conference. It’s intentionally capped so the conversations are real, the questions get answered, and you don’t feel lost in the crowd.

The work
CDM Summit is expanding to 5 cities in 2026

The personal side
>My wife just made it into the RCMP and I couldn’t be prouder
>That also means she’ll be away at Depot for 6 months, in another province
I’ll be holding down home with two little girls
> Family will help where they can, but a lot of this will be on me

I’m excited.
I’m nervous.
And I’m genuinely curious who I become under this kind of pressure.

The lesson (so far):
Growth isn’t just about adding more.
It’s about carrying more, without dropping what matters.
I don’t have this all figured out yet.
But 2026 is already testing the systems, the discipline, and the priorities.

Curious:
For those who’ve scaled a business and taken on more at home at the same time, what helped you stay grounded?

Quiet hotel room this morning.

Earlier start than usual.
No toys on the floor.
No school rush.

Just coffee, a view outside the window, and a table covered in Rode mics, GoPros, cables, batteries, and devices — all charged and ready.

There’s a calm that hits right before an event starts.
Before the doors open.
Before the room fills.

Not chasing perfection today.

Just focused on being present, running a tight day, and delivering real value.
Victoria - let’s do this.

I'll admit it... sometimes the after party portion off the summits become afterthoughts for me while in planning mode. 

2026 means correcting that! for Victoria that correction is, teaming up with LampPost Social And their amazing team.
