From scaling startups to leading a $4.6B business at Microsoft, I’ve learned one enduring truth: success is built on meaningful connections—between people, ideas, and opportunities. And the multiplier is always trust.

I was raised in a close-knit Italian family in New Jersey. My grandfather arrived in the U.S. with $20 in his pocket and built sustainable businesses through grit and determination. My dad—an Army veteran of WWII—taught me that integrity and trust aren’t “nice to have.” They’re everything. Those lessons became the foundation of my leadership.

In the startup world, I helped scale a company from $6M to $125M and to a successful public exit.

At General Dynamics, I turned around a struggling division—driving exponential growth, securing $20M in defense appropriations, and delivering roughly a third of the company’s revenue by aligning partners around execution.

Then came nearly a decade at Microsoft, where I led the U.S. Public Sector Partner business through a major transformation. We grew revenue from $2.5B to $4.6B, helped shape the modern cloud reseller model, and built high-performing teams known for alignment, results, and credibility.

But along the way, I saw a gap: leaders didn’t just need strategy decks. They needed focus, practical frameworks, and a trusted space to learn from one another.

So in 2017, I founded Ultimate Partner® to be that compass for technology leaders navigating ecosystem-led growth. Through the Ultimate Guide to Partnering® podcast (270+ episodes) and Ultimate Partner LIVE events, I bring together top voices from Microsoft, AWS, Google, and the broader partner ecosystem. I also developed the 8 Principles of Partnering Success—a practical framework leaders use to align strategy and drive measurable outcomes.

My mission is simple: empower leaders and their organizations to grow with clarity, connection, and credibility—building partnerships that scale with purpose.

Over six years ago, I embarked on a mission to empower partners struggling to navigate the complex world of tech giants like Microsoft, Google, and AWS. 

Having witnessed the industry from multiple perspectives – leading a $4.6 billion Ecosystem at Microsoft, spearheading partnerships for a billion-dollar company, and hosting 200 episodes of the Ultimate Guide to Partnering®, I’ve gained invaluable insights and crafted a manifesto of principles to guide your success.

Shaped market awareness of the powerful code generation/conversion capabilities in the BladeBridge through Systems Integrators and Technology Vendors. Grew the partner program from one partner to partnerships with Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, Wavicle, Snowflake, Talend, HVR, Matillion and many others.  

Generated go-to-market messaging and value statements, which partners could leverage with clients. Created pricing strategies that produced wins for the System Integrator and Technology Vendor communities. 

Created self service partner enablement via a partner portal. Generated onboarding strategies for partners. Systematized the partner program with assets including presentations, technical collateral, pricing calculators, payment tracking systems, product capability projections, on demand key distribution, sample process definitions, and video assets.

INTRICITY

Listed as one of “The Top Marketing Operations Leaders You Should Know” in 2018

Managed a partnership with Snowflake to become a go-to services provider, conducting more pilot deployments than any other, and pioneering in-person workshops as a method of generating joint Snowflake-Intricity leads. Developed a POC Co-Development methodology for rapidly on-boarding Snowflake pilots. Awarded as a partner of the year in 2018. Deployed a system for producing success stories to help spread the word about project successes.

VP of Emerging Technologies

Co-developed a next generation architecture called the Information Factory as a Service. Created partnerships with the major cloud vendors like: Amazon AWS, Snowflake, Looker, Microsoft Azure and several others.

Developed a reselling partnership with Informatica Corporation, resulting in Intricity being rewarded the 2011 & 2013 US Channel Partner of the Year, booking over 15 million dollars over the first 3 years. Invited to be a guest speaker at Informatica World and multiple Informatica User Groups.

Deployed multiple Marketing Automation suites to assist in tracking website traffic and automating lead conversion.

EIM Practice Director

This was a great startup project. I hope that we can use the assets in the future. Thanks to my partners and developers for all the time they spent!  :)  The opportunity will avail itself at some later point to do something with this.

Originated the concept of a social platform that facilitates fractional ownership. Established the financial backing of the concept. Designed the mockups to support the development efforts, and built a team of developers to execute its development. Designed multiple future releases. Maintained a revenue stream for our financial backers to keep the effort moving along.

Creator & Cofounder

Conversion Services International, Inc.

Responsible for delivering a compensation strategy that provided incentives for consultants to expand opportunities.  Produced an organizational plan earmarking the 6-12 month strategy for Re-Implementing a partnership with Business Objects Global Services, and the direct sales teams.   Produced and conducted a training program for CSI sales reps on how to leverage Business Objects as a strategic partner.  (available upon request)  Additionally, trained the sales team on how to sell and identify Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence opportunities.

Doubled the size of the consulting team within a short period of time.  Grew the Business Intelligence sales team through extensive training and process reengineering.

Frequently collaborated with SAP External Sales Teams to generate solution strategies.

Obtained Platinum Partnership for CSI with Business Objects by the 3rd quarter of the VP tenure.  Finished the year at almost double Platinum.

VP of Business Intelligence

Managed and delivered the presales efforts on behalf of CSI for Business Objects related opportunities.   Produced industry vertical examples in Crystal Xcelsius to further support presales efforts.  Conducted customer facing demos of, Business Objects Enterprise, Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Dashboard Manger, Crystal Xcelsius, Live Office, Data Integrator, and Metadata Manager.

Produced the Statements of Work for the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing deployments sold by the sales team.   Bridged the delivery teams by interviewing candidates required for the consulting engagements.  Conducted technical status calls with clients to ensure the solution was meeting expectations.

Directed Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing campaigns between Business Objects and CSI.  Created messaging for both technical and business user penetration strategies.

BI Practice Director

Grew opportunities into large sustaining consulting engagements.  Turned SAP integration toolkit sales into large Rapid Mart/Data Warehouse’s via Data Integrator.  Established a Texas channel from scratch by producing opportunities with the Texas Business Objects reps.  Attracted the Sales reps through extensive expertise in the Business Objects product line and a sound understanding of the sales cycle.  Produced custom presentations to assist business users in understanding complex Enterprise Information Management solutions.

Client Partner

Responsibilities included, inside partner sales coordination and creating a sales pipeline via tele-sales, and assisting outside sales team by introducing open opportunities.  Coordinated a working relationship with the East Coast inside sales team of Business Objects, and CSI.  Single handedly, produced a predictable pipeline of licensing bringing CSI to a Gold status partner.

Pre-Sales/Sales Executive

Software Forces, LLC

Executed software and consulting services sales, as well as product marketing. Sound understanding of Business Intelligence needs and how to address them. Experienced in performing live demos of software to customers via Web Conferencing.  Also, well versed in preparing automatic product tours.
Excelled in developing company and product logos, including webpage layout.  Brought a professional image to the organization.
Conducted mailings, shows and “webinars.”  Partnered with other groups to bring products to a broader market. Directed a tradeshow booth with a constrained budget.

Inside Sales and Marketing

AgReserves, Inc.

Produced a model and framework for determining the highest level of success attainable in the embryo trade market.  This proved that the embryo trade market was not a viable business for FMC.  With the analytical framework in place it was easy for FMC to see the statistical barriers in profitability.  This analysis saved many jobs, as the failure was clearly not attributed to the employees.

Prior consultants incorrectly predicted high successes could be obtained, costing FMC hundreds of thousands of dollars. The result of the analytic framework proved this not to be true.

Consultant

Computrol, Inc.

Attained internship at Western Electronics now Computrol.  Gathered pricing for individual parts in contracted products. Succeeded in an aggressive environment, where contract pricing was continually challenged by competing companies.  Included minute by minute phone calls to suppliers and bill of material lists that exceeded 20,000 lines.

Procurement

LDS Church

Placed in the position of coordinating the efforts of other volunteers.  Interviewed team members to instill best practices.  Creatively produced weekly and monthly training sessions.  Helped other volunteer leaders train their team members in best practices.  Lead missionary work in 5 different Brazilian cities including Rio de Janeiro, and eventually directed the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo.

Built the BladeBridge go to market with the top Systems Integrators and Technology vendors in the world including Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, NTT Data, Databricks, Snowflake, Talned, Matillion, Fivetran, and many others.

Lead multiple enterprise software consulting partnerships to producing multi-million dollar revenue streams. Created a Snowflake partnership that obtained partner of the year in 2018. Built an Informatica practice that obtained the Informatica Channel Partner of the Year in 2011 and 2013, with over 15 Million in total Software and Maintenance in that time span.

Assisted past employer to attain Gartner recognition as a BI Implementer. Built a practice around SAP data acquisition using the Business Objects stack of tools. 

Has a sound understanding of Data Delivery lifecycles, including Master Data Management, Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Warehousing/EII, and Business Intelligence. Exposed to multiple verticals like, software, manufacturing, healthcare, publishing, and financial services.

Co-Produced and executed a plan for integrating a Process Reengineering Organization with a Business Intelligence Organization. This included the integration of core 6 Sigma and Lean concepts with the best practices in BI. Co-Developed a multi-track project methodology for building Data Warehouses leveraging 6 Sigma principals.

Carries a sound understanding about different cultures, having lived 10 years outside of the United States:

• 3 Years in Portugal
