Senior Merchandiser - Merchandising & Marketing

DAL Knitwear Ltd (Design Ace Ltd)

My journey as a Senior Merchandiser gave me the opportunity to manage complete apparel programs for some of Europe’s most respected fashion brands, including LPP (Reserved, House, Sinsay, Cropp) and BRANDBQ (Medicine). My role focused on translating buyer requirements into actionable production strategies while ensuring top-quality standards, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery.

I was responsible for sourcing raw materials, selecting compliant factories, and developing samples while coordinating approvals with buyers. Costing, price negotiation, and confirming orders were key parts of my role to ensure both profitability and client satisfaction.

Daily production planning, factory follow-up, and quality assurance were central to my work. I coordinated final inspections and shipment bookings to maintain smooth operations and meet tight deadlines, keeping buyers informed at every step.

I successfully handled seasonal collections for LPP, including T-shirts, polos, and knit bottoms, and executed high-volume, fast-track orders for BRANDBQ under strict timelines. By streamlining buyer communication and factory workflows, I improved production timelines and achieved a 98%+ on-time shipment rate across multiple seasons.

I combine technical expertise with buyer-focused problem-solving to deliver consistent results while building trust with international clients.

Senior Merchandiser

In this position, I was responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle from order sourcing to final shipment. My focus was on building strong buyer relationships, ensuring smooth order execution, and maintaining high standards for quality, cost, and delivery.

I collaborated closely with buyers and suppliers to negotiate orders, prepare contracts, and collect all necessary style details and samples. By aligning product development with global fashion trends, I ensured competitive pricing and consistent buyer satisfaction. I also handled fabric, trim, and accessory sourcing both local and imported while tracking approvals and timely in-house deliveries.

This role required constant coordination with production, quality, and commercial teams to maintain workflow efficiency and prevent delays. I monitored production progress, managed inspections, and organized shipments according to the Target Order Delivery (TOD) plan, ensuring every order was completed on time and to specification.

Beyond day-to-day order management, I worked toward long-term business growth by collecting post-shipment feedback and identifying new sourcing opportunities. I take pride in creating value for both buyers and factories through proactive communication, reliability, and consistent performance.

Product Manager

In my role as a Product Development Manager, I lead the entire product creation process from initial concept to final shipment. My role focuses on turning buyer ideas into production-ready garments that meet both creative and commercial goals.

I collaborate closely with buyers and agents to review tech packs, analyse styles, and assess production feasibility with the technical team. This ensures that each design can be efficiently produced while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Costing and pricing play a key role in my responsibilities. I determine product costs, negotiate prices with buyers, and develop pricing strategies that support both profitability and capacity utilization. I also source raw materials at competitive rates to keep costs balanced with quality.

Working hand in hand with production teams, I coordinate every step of the order execution process. From tracking the production critical path to managing shipping consolidation and export documentation, I ensure each order is completed and delivered on time.

Strong communication is at the core of my work. By maintaining close coordination between buyers, suppliers, and production units, I ensure a smooth workflow and successful outcomes.

Product Development Manager

As a Product Developer in the apparel and fashion industry, I manage the complete process from concept to final production. My focus is to turn buyer ideas into well-executed products that meet quality standards, pricing goals, and delivery deadlines.

I handle end-to-end product development, including preparing costings, negotiating prices, and coordinating with both buyers and factories. I ensure timely sample development, approvals, and order execution by maintaining strong communication at every stage of production.

My responsibilities also include monitoring raw material procurement, overseeing production schedules, and tracking progress to prevent any shipment delays. I work closely with quality and production teams to ensure that every product meets buyer expectations and international standards.

By combining technical knowledge with effective coordination and problem-solving, I help deliver quality garments on time while building strong relationships with buyers and suppliers.

I embarked on an incredible journey as a Merchandiser, driven by the goal of delivering high-quality garments that ensure customer satisfaction. From day one, I embraced the challenge of managing orders for well-known fashion brands, learning the importance of precision and reliability.

In this role, I was entrusted with overseeing the entire order process from coordinating with factories to ensuring on-time production and shipment. I quickly learned to navigate the complexities of quality control while maintaining strong relationships with both clients and factory teams.

Building a strong, collaborative team became a priority. By working closely with the central team, I adapted to the fast-paced environment and turned challenges into opportunities for growth and learning.

One of my key responsibilities was creating product samples according to customer specifications, negotiating prices, managing orders, and approving production. I ensured every project stayed on schedule while keeping clients informed throughout the process.

Over time, I led multiple projects aimed at improving garment quality and streamlining production workflows. My focus on quality control and efficiency helped elevate the standards of ready-made garments we produced for fashion brands.

Through dedication and problem-solving, I successfully managed complex challenges and strengthened trust with international buyers by consistently delivering high-quality, reliable services.
