saw this on reddit and it's been stuck in my head since.
after your first 20-30 crore, a paid-off flat, and a decent car, there is no real difference in quality of life between you and a billionaire. 

you both have the same 24 hours. you both sit in the same traffic. you probably have more free time than him. 

so who's actually richer?
a plate of dal chawal tastes the same whether a billionaire eats it or you do.

money is a piece of paper or a number in your app. 
real life is chai on the balcony, morning walks, calling your mother without needing a reason.

become financially independent in India, that's roughly 20-30 crore, maybe lesser. 

eat good home cooked food. keep your relationships close. move your body. sleep well. call your parents. 

that's all there is to life. greed has no end. ask anyone stuck chasing the next promotion for the last ten years.

time is the currency of life. money is not.

the man with 50 crore in the bank but no time to attend his kid's annual day is not rich. 

the man who takes 3pm walks and eats lunch with his family is.

claude opus 4.6 just dropped and your feed is about to be flooded with prompt lists. most of them are useless without context. here's what actually works and why. (giveaway at the end)

instead of saving prompt lists you'll never open again, just try these 4. i use them almost every day.

1. creating SOPs without losing your mind

most people prompt: "help me create an SOP for onboarding clients"
that's like walking into a restaurant and saying "make food."
prompt this instead:
"you're an operations specialist. create a step-by-step client onboarding SOP for a [your industry] agency. the process starts when a client signs the contract and ends after [first deliverable]. include: exact timeline (day 1, day 2, etc.), who's responsible for each step (account manager vs content writer vs designer), what tools are used at each stage, and red flags to watch for. format it so a new hire with zero experience could follow it perfectly."
why it works: you gave it a role, a clear start and end point, specific structure, and a benchmark for quality. that's the difference between a generic checklist and something you'd actually hand to your team.

2. dissecting a viral post
most people prompt: "why did this post go viral"
prompt this instead:
"here's a linkedin post that got 50,000+ impressions [paste post]. do a full dissection: rate the hook out of 10 and explain why it works or doesn't. analyze the structure — white space, scannability, story flow. evaluate the CTA. identify the emotional trigger (curiosity, FOMO, personal confession, controversy). tell me what content bucket this falls into. then give me a reusable template where i can swap the topic but keep the same structure."

3. sales call prep
most people prompt: "help me prepare for a sales call"
prompt this instead:
"i have a discovery call tomorrow with a [role] who runs a [company size/type]. they found us through [channel]. help me prepare: 5 questions to uncover their pain points, 3 specific things i should observe about their linkedin before the call, 2 ways to frame pricing without leading with the number, a one-liner that communicates our value without sounding like a pitch, and the 3 most common objections someone at this level has — with my response to each."

i've put together 100 prompts like these for content writing, sales, outreach, hiring, and daily learning.
 
comment "PROMPT" and i'll send them to you.

People tell me i'm disciplined because i've worked out 3-4 times a week for 5 years. discipline actually has nothing to do with it.

At some point, going to the gym stopped being a decision. it became who i am. there's no internal debate. no "should i go today?" i just go. the same way i brush my teeth.

and i think that's what most people get wrong about change. they focus on what they want. "i want to lose 5kg." "i want to earn more." "i want better relationships."

when you chase outcomes, you have to make a decision every single day. the only thing driving you is a result that isn't here yet. so every morning becomes "do i feel like it today?" and some days you won't. so you skip. then you skip again. then you're "starting fresh from monday" for the third time this year.

you don't get what you want. you get who you are.

your income reflects what you believe you're allowed to earn. your relationships reflect what you believe you deserve. your health reflects how you relate to your body. nothing in my life changed until my identity changed. not my goals. not my habits. my identity.

there are three layers to change. outcomes (what you get), processes (what you do), identity (who you are). most people start at layer 1. maybe work on layer 2. real change happens when you flip it.

instead of "i want to be fit," i asked "what does a fit person do?" a fit person trains. they don't negotiate with themselves. so i train. not because i'm chasing a goal. because that's just who i am.

simple.

Without naming your  job, tell me something you say 100 times everyday at work.
Here’s mine: “the hook sounds too AI. rewrite it.”

this week in AI was not normal. read this post slowly and carefully if you use ANY AI tool.

--> the head of safety research at Anthropic quit. said "the world is in peril." moved to the UK to write poetry and "become invisible."

--> half of xAI's co-founders have now left. the latest one said recursive self-improvement loops go live within the next 12 months.

--> anthropic's own safety report revealed something wild → claude can detect when it's being tested and changes its behavior accordingly.

--> yoshua bengio, one of the godfathers of AI, confirmed it. "we're seeing AIs whose behavior when tested is different from when they're being used." and no, it's not a coincidence.

--> bytedance released seedance 2.0. a filmmaker with 7 years of experience said 90% of his skills can already be replaced by it.

--> the US government declined to back the 2026 international AI safety report. first time ever.

i'm not trying to fear monger. this is just what happened in one week.

the classic em dash ( — ) , “here's what nobody talks about..” etc 
let me give you a prompt to end this:

see i use AI every day at my agency. my team uses it too. AI is not the problem. lazy prompting is which is why most of you say things like:

--> posts that open with "most people think X. but here's what nobody talks about..."
I've read that exact line 40 times this week from 40 different people.

--> em dashes thrown in everywhere for no reason. five of them in a single post. AI just can't stop.

--> "and do you know what i learned from all this?" 
nobody talks like that in real life.

--> "the kicker?"

--> Classic emoji subheadings:

so doing myself a favour and made this prompt that strips out all of these patterns and actually makes your content sound like you wrote it.

I’m someone who usually can tell if a video is AI or not immediately, but holy shit what did I just see.

6 months ago, AI videos were painfully obvious. 

stiff movements. dead expressions. weird robotic speech.
cut-to now they have
→ natural head movements 
→ casual "umms" in speech 
→ the person looks away from camera while thinking 
→ slight hand gestures while talking

I didn’t even think it video was AI tell I realized this never happened in breaking bad lol

to know which tools were used comment tools and i'll send it to you. 

just kidding, this was made using Seedance and Kling.

A hacker used Claude to steal 150GB of Mexican government data. 
the same Claude my team uses for 70% of our work. 
Here's how Claude agreed to it:

--> they told Claude they were doing a bug bounty
--> Claude said no, this violates safety guidelines
--> the hacker just kept asking
--> Claude gave in

once it agreed, it went all in:
--> wrote attack scripts
--> found vulnerabilities
--> generated thousands of reports telling the hacker exactly what to go after next

the hacker got into Mexico's federal tax authority, the national electoral institute, and four state governments. walked away with 195 million taxpayer records, voter data, and government employee credentials.

this isn't a reason to stop using AI. it's a reason to take AI security seriously. because right now most companies (including governments apparently) aren't ready for what's coming.

mine would, after first principles thinking.

There was a time when I was consuming everything, new funnels, new growth hacks, new content formats, new tools every week. 

I felt productive, but I was actually distracted; my days were full, yet my results were inconsistent.

At some point I forced myself to step back and ask a simple question. What is marketing at its core?

It is not posting daily, It is not running ads, It is not automations or fancy landing pages.

At its core, marketing is understanding a specific group of people, 
-> identifying a painful problem they are willing to pay to solve, 
-> and communicating a clear outcome in a way they trust.

Once I reduced it to that, most of what I was doing became unnecessary.

I stopped creating content for everyone and focused only on my ideal buyer.
I stopped tracking vanity metrics and started tracking conversations.
I stopped adding tools and started improving the clarity of my offer.
I stopped copying trends and started studying my customers’ actual words.

The result was not louder marketing; it was simpler marketing, fewer actions, better decisions, stronger outcomes.

First-principles thinking forced me to remove the noise and keep only what directly connects the problem to the solution.

If your marketing feels heavy right now, it might not need more tactics. It might need fewer assumptions.

Billions use the internet daily, but no one knows this man who made it possible.

This man helped build the backbone of the internet, yet never heard his name called for a Nobel.

Narinder Singh Kapany did not grow up surrounded by laboratories or privilege. He grew up in Moga, Punjab, in a modest Sikh household, with curiosity as his sharpest tool. 

From early on, he questioned what others accepted, even when science itself told him he was wrong.

At Imperial College London, while pursuing his PhD, he challenged a belief that had stood for centuries: that light could only travel in straight lines.

In 1953, Narinder Singh Kapany demonstrated something science textbooks said was impossible: light could be guided through curved, flexible glass fibers without escaping. 

This single experiment overturned centuries of optical theory. It became the foundation of fiber optics-the technology that now carries more than 95% of the world’s international data traffic.

In 1960, Kapany gave the field its name: fiber optics. The same year, he published Fiber Optics: Principles and Applications, the first comprehensive book on the subject, long before the technology was commercially viable. At a time when most saw it as a laboratory curiosity, he saw a global infrastructure.

By the 1970s, his ideas were being adopted for telecommunications, medical imaging, and military systems. Fiber optic endoscopy transformed non-invasive surgery. 

Long-distance communication became faster, clearer, and exponentially more scalable. Undersea fiber cables began linking continents. The internet’s backbone was taking shape.

Yet recognition never arrived in proportion to impact.

While others received Nobel Prizes for advancing the field, Narinder remained in the shadows, labeled an unsung hero.

He never chased validation. He built instead-companies, patents, industries, and possibilities.

Narinder Singh Kapany passed away in 2020. The world stayed connected. His legacy never blinked.

PharmEasy bought Thyrocare for ₹4,546 crore.
Now Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. is pledged as collateral for ₹2,280 crore of 18% debt.

That’s how leverage turns an acquisition into a liability.
₹2,280 crore at 18%, that’s not funding, that’s a ticking clock.

In 2021, PharmEasy acquired Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. for ₹4,546 crore.

To finance it, they raised ₹2,280 crore in high-cost debt - structured around one assumption: We’ll IPO soon. We’ll refinance. Interest won’t matter.

But capital markets don’t care about plans, when the IPO didn’t happen, the math flipped. 

Interest alone at 18% on ₹2,280 crore = ~₹410 crore per year, before salaries, before marketing, before operations.

Then came the compounding damage:
• Losses: ₹641 crore → ₹3,992 crore
• Valuation collapsed 90%+
• Founders stepped out
• Thyrocare Technologies Ltd.: the only profitable asset - pledged as collateral

This wasn’t market conditions, this was duration mismatch.

Healthcare is a long-cycle business: trust builds slowly, margins build slowly, regulation slows you down, customer retention takes time.

But the capital structure was short-cycle and aggressive.
You cannot fund a long-term operating model with short-term financial pressure.

Leverage works only when cash flows are predictable and growing; when growth slows, leverage magnifies the downside, not the upside.

And when your survival depends on the next funding event,
you’re not running a business, you’re managing liquidity risk.

PharmEasy’s challenge wasn’t healthcare.
It was financing a long-cycle business with short-cycle capital expectations.

Financial engineering can accelerate growth, but it can also accelerate collapse, and leverage always behaves exactly the way leverage behaves.

Writing is not communication-it is cognition. 

It is the tool that allows a founder to separate noise from signal, impulsive reaction from deliberate action.

How working with 27+ CEOs taught me the 1-email trust rule

Early in my career, I thought trust was built after long conversations - multiple calls, a few follow-ups, some shared documents.

But after working with 27+ CEOs across SaaS, B2B, and enterprise tech, I realized something different:
- Trust doesn’t take time. It takes clarity.

The shift came when I started noticing a pattern in my inbox.
Out of hundreds of cold emails and introductions, only a handful got immediate responses.
At first, I thought it was timing or tone. It wasn’t.
It was precision.

Every deal that eventually moved forward began with one message - a message that proved we understood before we offered.

The first email didn’t try to impress. It didn’t talk about solutions, scaling, or synergies.
It showed I had done my homework.

One of the earliest examples still stands out.
A SaaS founder had been struggling with outbound conversions. Most agencies pitched automation or scripts.
I wrote:

I noticed your reply rate dropped 18% last quarter. When we audited a similar B2B SaaS, the main drop came from message fatigue - not targeting. Would you be open to reviewing your segment logic?

That email got a same-day reply.
Not because it was clever - but because it showed I was already paying attention.

That’s when I started tracking what I now call the 1-email trust rule.
If a CEO can read your first message and say,

“This person gets it,” you’ve built trust before the first call.

There’s no shortcut to this. It requires reading their reports, listening to their interviews, analyzing their patterns.

It requires seeing what they don’t say in public but what their numbers quietly reveal.

That’s how you build trust in one email - by showing you already understand what they’ve been trying to explain to everyone else.

Now, before I send any message, I ask one question:

Can I fill in this blank with precision - I understand your biggest constraint is ___?

If I can’t, the email isn’t ready.
Because trust doesn’t come from volume. It comes from relevance.
And in B2B, relevance isn’t a tactic - it’s proof of thought.

I left an 80L+ swe job at Atlassian to build something that had a 90% chance of failing.

Best irrational decision of my life.

From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to build something of my own. I have always admired polymaths, people who think across domains, who create, who build systems, and not just execute tasks. 

Working in a strong company gave me exposure, discipline, and technical depth. But deep inside, it never felt like the final destination.

The salary was comfortable. Too comfortable. And comfort can quietly become a trap. 

I did not want to spend my life running in a race built around someone else’s dream. I wanted to test my own capacity. I wanted to see what I could build from zero.

The decision to leave was not emotional. It was not impulsive. It was not driven by motivation. It was structured like a business plan. I gave myself a rule. 
I would not resign until I was making 6x my salary outside my job. So I started small. I onboarded clients quietly. I spoke to people after work. I was terrible at sales in the beginning. I did not know how to pitch. I struggled to convert. I failed repeatedly.

But I learn fast. When I decide to learn something, I give it hours. I study it from first principles. I remove assumptions. I improve daily. Giving up was never part of my thinking.

I still remember onboarding my first client. That moment felt heavier than any promotion. It was proof that I could create value independently.

Today I feel proud, not because I left a job, but because I chose discomfort to grow. I chose uncertainty to build. And every day I wake up satisfied knowing I am working on something that is truly mine.
