Co-founder & VP @ X Machina AI Group, a holding company that acquires EBITDA positive AI businesses in the data value chain. My focus spans M&A, deal flow, corp dev and value creation related to the AI strategy for portfolio companies. 

Over the years I have started and led many AI focused organizations and communities, such as INVEST-AI, MTLDATA, AI FEST & AI SAFETY UNCONFERENCE (co-located with NeurIPS). I am a mentor and advisor for several startups, boot camps and accelerators, such as Springboard, Techstars, and NextAI. 

I have a strong entrepreneurial and technical background, with demonstrated skills and experience in crafting innovative go-to-market strategies (GTM). - Built & led the engineering team who took Souq.com from a startup company in the year of 2005 to become the leading online marketplace in the region.
- Migrated and expanded our infrastructure from 1 server in 2005 to a scalable, load-balanced environment.
- Constantly reviewed, refactored and improved the application and database design.
- Designed & developed Souq.com credit card fraud prevention layer using quantitative methods.
- Migrated our search from a MySQL full text search to Solr. Our new search supported taxonomy, navigators, synonyms, search suggestions and auto complete.
