Change and Innovation Project Manager

Consulting in the social services sector as part of my MBA (and post-graduation), I am leading the digital transformation of Life Storybooks for young people in care. This project requires multi-stakeholder management, the development and maintenance of key relationships across all levels, meeting and surpassing key project deliverables and the development of effective change leadership implementation strategies.

The project necessitated the effective use of design thinking, lean and change leadership methodologies to manage various stages of the project and included the establishment of the additional project supporting elements such as foundation and design principles, organisational structures and development specifications.

Earlier in my career, I founded and scaled a financial services business to 2,000+ clients and $500M in assets. Burnout led to a complete reinvention: I sold the company, travelled through 23 countries with my family, completed an Exec MBA, and retrained in human-centred innovation.

I have accomplished some milestones, to mention some can as  demonstrated below in mission to provide support in IT, digital services & Telecom to our teams & partners on ground to achieve UN sustainability development goal number 2.

Supported in deployments SD WAN & FortiGate firewall to both main office & WH infrastructure, which streamlined traffic and eased management & network performance. 

Supported partners in field with installation, configuration of digital tools for WFP SCOPE platform that aided registration & distribution of  over 25,000 beneficiaries registered & enrolled  in areas of Eastern Equotoria, also supported Renk field office on Tdy mission on WFP digital tools support to aid  registration & distribution project under Sudan emergency response which saw over 40,000 individuals enrolled mostly returnees from Sudan.

Installed, configured, & deployed more than 100 workstations, Tablets, Cisco switches, MPOS, access points, digital senders & Servers with WFP authorized softwares, & other tools that made Torit Field office compliant with the set standards with other offices worldwide.
 
Supervised, coached, guided & evaluated team of five (5) dedicated Telecom Assistants that managed Inter agency Radio operations that provided support in tracking & providing reliable 24/7 Telecom services.

Trained, guided & developed easy to read tutorials to all WFP Torit staff on use of office 365 tools likes One drive, SharePoint, Forms & Teams which increased collaboration of office work online by 100% hence adherence to digital workspace. 

Provided hands on & remote support to all Torit staff with  IT, Telecom & Scope through IT/Scope Service tickets assigned under Torit & escalated 2% to  CO & HQ that required level 3 support . 

Planned, budgeted, and supervised Torit base Radio relocation & installation with no interference on services.

Introduced manageable office network infrastructure devices like Mikrotik, Cisco switches, Stable power backup that supported in monitoring traffic flow hence proper Qos and bandwidth proper allocations on priority tasks and operations with in the office.
. 
Trained total of more than fify(50) staff both field and main office on Microsoft Active AX Dyanamics, Outlook & ATLAS, EBMS,that eased office operations efficiency to 95%.

Supported IRSS office in planning, design & deployment of electronic beneficiary management systems(EBMS) that aided in beneficiary registration & distribution which gave program team central control of beneficiary databases and entitlements that's later eased enhance proper monitoring & Evaluation of projects.

Planned, deployed & supervised all new & existing installations, maintenance of Vsat in five (5) in field locations in Southsudan & point to point link network to guest apartment.

Together with other departments, supported and advised in IT budget drafting for several projects, citing required IT deliverables that saw the office budgeted and planned purchase of only  IT assets that would support the project & other operation eliminating wastes and saving costs to other project deliverables.

SENIOR IT OFFICER - JUBA(SOUTH SUDAN).

Introduced and adapted green solar power solution for  five (5) field locations which saved the organization operations costs on flights tickets  & maintenance costs on fuel, generator services.

Digitalization of beneficiaries management system from paper based to Electronic data management  system (EBMS) & electronic voucher system. 

Supported in deployment, administration & training of Microsoft AX system, transfer & migration of all field office data from Quick books to Microsoft Active Dynamics with out downtime. enhanced easy cloud and secure access. 

Supported in designing & deployment of Islamic Relief South Sudan website, which increased project visibility and operations across South Sudan.. 

Harnessed the design & implementation of point to multi point wireless network linking main office to guest house, priotised QoS to guest house link during off work peak time, this saved cost on bandwidth proper utilization, also in addition i  proposed, guided & negotiated with Service provider for improved bandwidth at cost that benefited both IRSS & ISP, which led to increased performances of Cloud based Microsoft ERP (AX Dynamics) that eased operations. and cost reduced on internet related costs.

Coordinated, managed Ramadan and Qurbani projects for Seven years from initiation to final delivery consecutively with 95% success rate feedback from main stakeholders.

My career narrative is marked by an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional results, leveraging technical skills, effective management strategies, & operational expertise in the domain of Information technology, Innovation management, digital transformation, Digital product management, project managment & Tech enterprership.

I have consistently prioritized enhancing operational efficiency, resulting in substantial cost reductions (up to 99%) & improved user experiences, these efforts have contributed to the successful execution of numerous IT/Telecom operations and projects with Islamic Relief South Sudan.

My track records encompasses wide arrays of accomplishments, to include but not limited to  successful administration & implementation of SD WAN migration, comisioning & decomissioning of numerous infrastructure like Vsat, Telecom repeaters,VHF &HF base radios, handled morethan 500 Tech & infrastructure equipments for WFP Torit.

Installed over 10 green energy solutions for Vsat infrastructure & satelite offices in deep areas with no access to electricity for Islamic Relief South Sudan.

Worked on digital solutions deployment like Microsoft Active AX Dynamics ERM (Islamic Relief (South Sudan), WFP SCOPE (UN-WFP), & EBMS System, handled & efficiently managed over 300 IT Assets reducing wastes &making use of whats available.

Collaborated in formulation of several IT policies enabling compliance, Trained over 100 staff on existing and new technologies like sharepoint, Onedrive, teams, & other Microsoft office packages, Microsoft AX Dynamics, Wfp scope platform, taught & documented step by step fix tutorials for their self support in fixing minor issues with their computers.

I also played a key role in Business continuity planning & disaster recovery for WFP South Sudan, as well as the enforcement & implementation of cybersecurity initiatives to WFP Torit staff that facilitated awareness on cyber threat

Forecasting ahead of time, I am dedicating to expanding my expertise in working on Digital innovative solutions & transformation projects that would bring meaningful impacts.
