Change and Innovation Project Manager

Consulting in the social services sector as part of my MBA (and post-graduation), I am leading the digital transformation of Life Storybooks for young people in care. This project requires multi-stakeholder management, the development and maintenance of key relationships across all levels, meeting and surpassing key project deliverables and the development of effective change leadership implementation strategies.

The project necessitated the effective use of design thinking, lean and change leadership methodologies to manage various stages of the project and included the establishment of the additional project supporting elements such as foundation and design principles, organisational structures and development specifications.

As an Agile Coach, I lead a development team that develops several mobile applications for different clients. The technologies used include SWIFT, Kotlin, and Xamarin for the development of apps for Android and iOS.

The team is cross-functional and includes software engineers, UX designers, UX researchers, product owners, and business managers.
Within the team, 2 subgroups have emerged, each managing a client project to have the optimal focus. However, they also support each other across projects to ensure knowledge sharing on technologies and challenges.

My role as an Agile Coach includes facilitating retrospectives and guiding sprint planning and review.
In addition, I am the guide and coach for the Product Owners of the various app projects and always provide support where help is needed.

As a Servant Leader, I keep the team happy and support each team member individually with their challenges to identify potentials and use them. In doing so, I find it important to strengthen individual strengths to form a strong collaborative team. Learning self-leadership as an individual is essential in my view, as well as leading yourself and continuously improving.

Facilitation of workshops for the development of Userstory Maps and BigPictures. Here I formed a workshop team from a wide variety of participants from different disciplines in order to successfully work together on innovative ideas and projects.

As a software engineer, I have worked in various projects as a specialist in embedded software development with the programming languages C, C++, and an embedded Linux base. This involved programming home appliances for customers in the consumer electronics sector. 

The development took place in a team that worked according to the agile Scrum framework and was responsible for the code base itself. 

In the team, I took the role of a software developer and also the role of project coordinator. The project coordinator is the interface to the customer and coordinates the sprint acceptances and invoicing.

GRIMME

As a development engineer for Embedded Systems IoT at GRIMME, I was involved in the development of the new GRIMME Digital Interface (GDI). The GDI was created in a team consisting of several development engineers, designers, and product managers. Among other things, I used the interface to the ISOBUS stack in such a way that the designers' ideas from the limited selection of objects in the ISOBUS object pool were implemented in the best possible way and in a functional way for the end user. The solution was optimized for different ISOBUS terminals with touch.

As another project I accompanied the connection of the telemetry unit GRIMME SmartConnect to the myGRIMME portal. The GRIMME SmartConnect is an embedded device that is permanently mounted on the machine.

Here, a cross-level team consisting of myGrimme portal specialists, managers responsible for machine series, business economists, agricultural machinery mechanics, electricians, and development engineers found the optimal solution.

As a software developer for industrial software, I have accompanied various projects.

I have accompanied the projects from planning, through development, to commissioning at the customer's site on my own responsibility.

The projects were among others:
- Fully automatic registration and labeling of delivered potatoes as well as a controlled feed to the production by means of a software solution based on barcodes. 
- Storage lift "de Man EcoTower": A space-saving and effective storage option for forming devices for metal ceiling production, each of which can weigh several 100 kg. 
- Commissioning of various stacker cranes and associated conveyor technology.
