AI-generated content is now indistinguishable from reality. No watermarks. No disclosure requirements. No way to verify.

And consumers are terrified.

Not because the technology is bad. 
Because nobody's being transparent about when it's being used.

Here's what happens next:
Companies will use this to create marketing content, product images, testimonials, reviews. 
All synthetic. 
None disclosed.

Sometimes the right decision is the hardest one.

After an incredible year of building Mentor Academy, working with over 2,000+ mentors, coaches, and consultants, I'm announcing that we've closed operations.

We fulfilled our final commitments a few weeks ago, and now it's time to be honest about what I learned:

I was building the wrong business.

Not wrong because the work didn't matter. 

The people we served were extraordinary. 
The frameworks we created were solid. 

The Multiplication Method™ works, I still believe in it deeply.

But I was building a business that served mentors when the world needed something different. 

Something bigger. 
Something more urgent.

Over the past year, while working with thousands of professionals trying to build trust with their clients, I kept hearing the same crisis emerging:

"How do I prove I'm trustworthy when AI is destroying credibility?"
"How do I show transparency when regulations are coming and I don't know what to do?"
"How do I differentiate when everyone claims to be 'ethical' but nobody can prove it?"

That's when it hit me.

The opportunity wasn't helping people become better mentors. 

The opportunity was solving the trust crisis that every organization, not just mentors, is facing in the AI era.

So I made the call. We closed Mentor Academy to focus on something that matters more.

What I learned from MA:

This week I've been sharing about closing Mentor Academy and launching SiteTrust.

Today, I just want to say thank you.

I'm grateful for:

• Faith. 
I've learned that the best decisions I make are the ones where I trust something bigger than my own understanding. Closing MA to build SiteTrust was one of those decisions. It didn't make logical sense at first. But it was right.

• Family. 
Debbi has been by my side for 30 years. Four kids who have watched me build, break, and rebuild businesses. They've seen the wins and the losses. And they've supported every pivot. I don't take that for granted.

• The Mentor Academy community. 
You taught me more than I taught you. Every conversation, every question, every success story shaped what became SiteTrust. You showed me the real problem that needed solving.

• The lessons from breaking businesses. 
I've built companies that succeeded. I've built one that broke. Both taught me what I needed to know. Failure isn't the opposite of success—it's part of the curriculum.

• The people who believed before it made sense. 
The team that's building SiteTrust with me. The advisors who saw the vision early. The partners who are already certified. You took a bet on something that doesn't exist yet. That matters.

• This moment. 
To be at the beginning of something that could become infrastructure. To see the window open. To have the experience, the team, and the timing align. That doesn't happen often. I don't take it lightly.

Entrepreneurship is hard. 
Pivoting is harder. 
Betting everything on something new is terrifying.

But it's also the most alive I've ever felt.

So today, I'm grateful. 
For the journey. 
For the people who've been part of it. For the opportunity to build something that matters.

And I'm excited about Monday. 😊

The most dangerous phrase in business right now? "We'll worry about AI compliance next year."

By "next year," it will be too late.

Here is the regulatory countdown: 
→ Colorado AI Act goes into effect June 30, 2026.
 Businesses using high-risk AI will face new duties around documentation, impact assessments, and disclosures. This deadline was already delayed once, but it’s still the first comprehensive AI law in the U.S.

→ The EU AI Act is already in force. Its requirements roll out in phases between now and 2027

→ Enterprise procurement cycles are 6–12 months.
 Meaning: if your AI product or service isn’t compliant ahead of deadlines, you simply won’t get through procurement.

Do the math. 
The time to prepare is today.

This is why we are launching SiteTrust on December 2nd.

We are establishing the registry and certifying the founding partners before the inevitable panic in 2026.
