I was a business director in healthcare for 10 years.

Now, I’m a full-time entrepreneur.

Before this, I never used social media.

I joke that I didn't even have a Myspace page when that was popular.

As a private person, the idea of marketing myself online terrified me.

But if I wanted to build a successful online business, I had to face my fear.

After exploring different platforms, LinkedIn became my first choice.

Why? Because it's designed for professionals, and I knew I needed to be intentional.

Starting to post content here in 2022 changed everything.

It led me to earning multi-6 figures in my coaching business.

But it wasn’t easy.

First, I had to get comfortable sharing parts of my life publicly. I’m serious when I say people here might know more about me than some of my family. 😂

Next, I had to prove my expertise.

It felt awkward at first, but eventually, I owned it:

• I run 4 profitable businesses with my husband.
• I’ve been an entrepreneur in some form since I was 16.
• I directed operations for multi-7 and 8-figure healthcare organizations.

Finally, I had to learn how to sell in a way that felt natural to me.

I didn’t want to constantly pitch or push products. It felt inauthentic.

So I developed a sales methodology based on having real, meaningful conversations.

Here’s what I discovered:

Building a successful coaching business can be simple. Overcomplication leads to burnout, but simple strategies and systems help you scale sustainably.

TL;DR:

1. Open up and let people connect with you.
2. Establish yourself as an expert.
3. Sell authentically through genuine conversations.

Consistency is key. Intentional posting can transform your business.
