I am a lawyer turned tech entrepreneur with a passion for people, software, and processes. Along with my team, we strive to positively impact our industry by providing innovative software solutions. We aspire to change lives by developing tech and core skills through training initiatives and mentoring.

In 2002 I was Co-Founder of my first business, Jonker Vorster Attorneys. I specialised in education and credit law but soon realised that it was the process of getting the work done that made me come alive.

In 2014 my husband and I founded a software company, Jumping Fox Software, and developed a solution for schools that automates internal debtor management and collection processes. Spending time with programmers while developing our software made me fall in love with the IT industry and its people. 

When working with the young programmers I identified a dire need for the development of their tech and core skills. Without hesitation, Riaan Dreyer, a senior developer I worked with since 2014, joined me in launching an online skills development company for junior developers. We named the company DevSavvy as we want young programmers to be savvy when it comes to making life and career decisions.

I turned 51 in February this year and I am the happiest I have ever been. I spend my time working with senior programmers and core skill professionals who help young, creative, and intelligent programmers develop into the best versions of themselves. I educate schools on the positive impact of process automation and create short courses to help them refine their internal processes and strategies. Learning something new every day is a given. 

The best part - not only do I share this journey with my husband, but both my sons are on a journey of their own, enjoying life and making a difference wherever they go. 

Looking toward the future, I believe that I am still gaining momentum and am working towards my dream of changing lives.
