➔ My first eCommerce company started with just $700 and went on to become the largest online car insurance player in Romania, thanks to the principles of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).

➔ After realizing the game-changing potential of Conversion Rate Optimization I launched OmniConvert, a growth experimentation suite for eCommerce companies, where >1K eCommerce companies ran >60K experiments

Sure, you can still wash clothes by hand.

I get it.
Hand-washing feels honest.

HERE IS THE PROBLEM:
People confuse effort with accuracy.
They confuse “I suffered through it” with “I understood it.”
They confuse tradition with outcomes.

When you insist on human-only analysis, you are basically standing over a sink at 11 PM scrubbing socks, proudly saying: “I just prefer the craftsmanship.” Cool. Also unnecessary.

And AI-only analysis?
That is tossing laundry into a machine with no sorting, no detergent, and no clue what the settings do. Fast. Confident. Wrong. Then you act surprised when everything turns pink.

THE SHIFT:
Use the washing machine the way an adult uses it.

1. Let AI do the agitation
Summaries, clustering, first-pass insights. The repetitive scrubbing, that has proper guardrails.

2. Keep humans for the sorting
Context, business tradeoffs, “does this make sense?”, and the decisions that carry reputational risk.

3. Audit the output like you’d check a stain
If the insight changes a roadmap, pricing, or spend, you do not “trust the cycle.” You verify.

Teams that blend speed with judgment compound.

I didn’t start my career thinking I’d become a GTM (Go-to-Market) engineer.

I’ll be honest 

This is something I’ve seen up close, not just theorised.

Having worked with different mid-to-large orgs, one pattern keeps repeating:

Everyone is exhausted.
Everyone is “busy.”
And yet… progress is slow.

When I zoom into a single GTM campaign, here’s what I usually find:

• One person thinking strategy + writing copy
• One person building lists
• One person doing CRM + tracking
• One person managing SDR execution

Four roles.
Multiple handoffs.
Endless alignment calls.

And somehow, the ICP still gets fuzzy.
Messaging still breaks between marketing and sales.
Execution still takes a full week.

What bothers me is this:

I know this can be done by one strong operator.
Because I’ve done parts of it myself.
And I’ve seen what happens when context stays with one person.

No waiting.
No translation loss.
No “that’s not my scope.”

Just:
clear thinking → clean execution.

That’s why I’m convinced GTM mastery is real leverage right now.

Not tools.
Not job titles.
Not bloated teams.

One person who understands:
• the business
• the buyer
• the data
• the systems

And uses AI + ops to move fast.

My honest prediction?

Way fewer traditional 9–5 roles in tech.
Smaller teams.
More solo or micro GTM operators running multiple accounts.

Scary for some.
Liberating for others.

I’m choosing to build depth, not hide behind roles.

Because the future doesn’t reward being busy.
It rewards being effective.

Before I entered sales and marketing, I thought good writing had to be poetic.

Fancy words.
Clever metaphors.
Sentences that sounded impressive.

So I tried writing like that.
It looked good.
But it didn’t work.

Sales taught me something different.

Good sentences don’t matter on their own.
What matters is how people feel when they read them.

People respond only when something feels relevant.

For example:

“This product saves time” is clear, but it’s forgettable.

“I stopped checking Slack at 10 pm” does more work
without explaining more.

Same message.
Stronger belief.

That’s when I learned:

Good copy doesn’t describe features. It shows effects.

When readers connect the dots themselves, they trust the message more.

Good copy isn’t about elegance. It’s about clarity that feels human.
