I am the Founder and Managing Partner of FractionalCPO, a product leadership and growth consulting firm that doesn't just advise, but embeds. We work with Private Equity and high-growth enterprises to transition or augment product leadership and drive revenue growth from product.

Companies die from focusing on trying to improve metrics instead of focusing on delivering customer value. They often lack the operational velocity to turn strategy into enterprise value. We don't do performative roadmaps or endless committees. We identify the bottleneck, install high-velocity systems, and execute until the metrics move. We’ve been doing this successfully for a decade, helping clients through growth, exits, and IPOs.

Julian brings a passion for (soft) robotics to his role as CEO and co-founder of Somnox, a company set to help the world sleep better leveraging technology and science. Created to fight insomnia, help the sleep-deprived and start a global sleep revolution, Somnox was borne from Julian’s desire to help his mother manage and overcome insomnia without the need for prescription medication. As an industrial design engineer, Julian is on a mission to develop soft robotics to contribute to health and well-being. With multiple design and engineering awards, including the James Dyson Award, Philips Innovation Award, Robotdalen Innovation Award and Sprout’s 25 under 25, Julian passionately believes in the ability of robotics to help humans live happier and healthier lives. He graduated with honors from the Delft University of Technology with a degree in Industrial Design, and also holds a minor in Robotics from the Delft Biorobotics Lab – 3mE (Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering).

Binder - Social Book Sharing

Binder was founded during the honours course 'Personal Leadership' at the University of Technology Delft with the mission to help every student to have his or her literature at hand disregarding the financial situation. 
Through Binder (an online platform) you can search through the books of your friends and co-students. 

Making it easy to share books and re-use them. 
This way people who don't use their books can earn some money and help co students. Whereas students who are looking for their literature can now get acces to their books in a cheap way.

Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School

In 2015 I was selected as a participant for the Netherlands Asian Honours Summer School (NAHSS). This program (1 full year) is partly in the Netherlands with other (honors) university students. 
3 months of this program was spent in Taipei (Taiwan) and Shanghai (China). 

We conducted research for Unilever to explore the food / packaging situation in Asia.

Julian Jagtenberg is the CEO and Co-Founder of Somnox, a category-carving company known for developing the first smart sleep companion proven to improve quality of rest. Julian brings a passion for robotics to his role at Somnox, where he and his team have built a science-backed sleep companion, shown to improve breathing and settle the mind for better sleep, recovery, and quality of life.

Created to help the sleep-deprived and start a global sleep revolution, Somnox was born from Julian’s desire to help his mother manage and overcome her insomnia. As an industrial design engineer, Julian developed this unique technology to empower everyday consumers to incorporate healthy routines and improve their holistic well-being. With more than 15,000 happy customers and multiple awards across design and engineering, including the James Dyson Award, Philips Innovation Award, Robotdalen Innovation Award and Sprout's 25 under 25, Julian is on a mission to help 100 million people worldwide achieve better sleep by 2030.

Compromising the bedrock of sleep lessens the efficacy of an otherwise healthy diet and lifestyle. Somnox aims to tackle the root-cause of sleep issues: feelings of stress and anxiety.
