In the ever-changing world of tech I've carved a niche for myself as a committed Software Developer. My love of the subject has not just resulted in me accumulating readers of over one million on a variety of blogs as well as to launch 2023's most sought after Data Science Bootcamp. My academic background is solidified by an Bachelors in Computer Science which has been crucial in my work.

My method of developing websites is multi-faceted, making sure there's the seamless integration of aesthetics for the front end and robust back-end functions. This balanced approach has enabled me to design user experience that stands out connecting with users and meeting the business goals.

Collaboration is at the core of any successful project. I've had the honor in leading, and working with some of the most skilled teams in the business. Together, we've tackled problems with aplomb, streamlined workflows and incorporated technology into our decisions that are in perfect alignment with the overall goals of our projects.

Performance is not a matter of negotiation. Each component I'm involved with undergoes rigorous optimization procedures to ensure efficacy, scalability and reactivity. Each of the projects I've completed has served as a learning experience and has provided me with valuable lessons and enhancing my method further.

The concept of AI has always fascinated me. I've been pursuing AI's capabilities to improve the offerings of our products. The aim? Improved user satisfaction. The process of infusing AI into the process of optimizing products has been thrilling and I'm always watch for the next major breakthrough in this field.

Some of the milestones I treasure in my heart are co-founding the world's most prestigious Data Science Bootcamp in 2023 getting an appearance in the UBC Dean's List in 2022 and training more than 1000 developers since the year 2015. My contributions and work have also been acknowledged by industry leaders, including appearances in respected publications like Forbes.

In the words of industry experts I've had the pleasure to collaborate with, my commitment to digital excellence is evident. As Entrepreneur puts it, my approach to digital solutions is both innovative and grounded, striking the right balance between vision and execution.

Over the past few years at LunarTech, I’ve been incredibly proud of the work we’ve been doing with an exceptional team, and some truly powerful partners.

One of the things I’m most proud of is that as an American/Caucasian Founder and Armenian, we have been able to contribute to the significantly while we are able to channel maybe tiny part of LunarTech's potential.

For us, our country isn’t just a place on the map.

When you grow up outside your country, you see clearly what it costs when we don’t invest in our own nation—sometimes even when we don’t have a choice. That’s why I’m deeply proud of what we’ve been building in Armenia and United States with LunarTech and our other companies. And still, I believe we’ve barely reached tiny part of our potential.

Restoring the Tower: LunarTech Releases The Full-Stack Architecture of LunarTech Babel

LunarTech has introduced Babel, an open-source platform designed to eliminate language barriers in the fields of global education and research. Unlike generic translation tools, this system is engineered to convert complex technical documentation and academic papers without losing the original context or formatting. By utilizing Generative AI, Babel ensures that the translated output retains the precise layout of the source file, making it immediately ready for professional use.

The platform prioritizes functionality over hype by strictly maintaining the structure of documents, including multi-column layouts and embedded images. During development, the engine was stress-tested against dense academic papers to ensure it could accurately handle difficult elements like mathematical formulas and data tables. This focus on high fidelity allows the software to distinguish between text that needs translation and immutable data that must remain untouched to preserve scientific accuracy.

To ensure accessibility for all users, Babel features a simple “plug-and-play” interface that hides complex backend architecture behind an intuitive, easy-to-configure dashboard. The tool currently supports high-quality translation for over 22 languages, including complex scripts like Japanese and Thai, with a roadmap for further expansion. Developed in collaboration with Google and OpenAI, this resource is now available on GitHub for anyone wishing to bridge the gap in global knowledge transfer.

We’re excited to spotlight Rod Morrison journey with the LunarTech Data Science Bootcamp 🚀

When Rod joined us, he was a Chief Architect at Raken AI Labs looking to sharpen his hands-on technical skills and deeply understand what’s really happening “under the hood” of modern Data and AI systems. Coming from years in leadership, he wanted a programme that was practical, structured, and would help him move from fuzzy ideas to real MVPs—fast and real data knowledge.

Through LunarTech Rod was able to rebuild his technical edge in Data and AI while also improving how he communicates AI value to both engineers and business leaders.

Today, Rod has been promoted to #Head of Data Science and AI at Raken AI Labs, leading a team of six ( PhD data scientists and data engineers), while also running his own consultancy, CodeRod Solutions.

If you work in AI or Engineering, you know the struggle: Scanned historical technical documents are the "final boss" of OCR and translation. They are filled with complex layouts, fading fonts, and mathematical notation that break standard models.

In the Babel Extreme Arena, we didn't just want to translate text; we wanted to preserve engineering integrity. While our partners at Microsoft and Google provide the foundational heavy lifting in this space, LunarTech’s Babel is taking it a step further—handling the most complex, unstructured data in a truly sustainable manner.

Since opening the program and releasing the initial design, we’ve been blown away by the response. We received multiple design submissions from the community, proving that when you make knowledge accessible, innovation follows.
