I call it the "5 cent word" rule and it's one of the easiest fixes in selling with dignity.

My mom turned 90 last Sunday.

If you called her with this line, she'd pause, sigh, and in the sweetest voice imaginable say:

"Oh honey. Did reading that off your script make you feel powerful? Or did your soul leave your body a little?"

Then she'd hang up. Gently. Because she was raised right.

Yesterday's pattern interrupt is tomorrow's worn-out line.

My general job responsibilities are,

Started out like most sales folk - broke, clueless, desperate. Took the first job that’d have me. I wasn’t passionate. I wasn’t “ambitious.” I just needed to eat.

For years I was mid. Some quarters I hit quota, most I didn’t. Thought it was the market. The leads. The product. The economy. Anything but me.

Then one day I got tired of sucking.

I cracked open books, watched hours of training, wrote cringey pitches and rewrote them until they didn’t suck. Took punches, took notes, got better. Became the kind of rep I’d be scared to compete with. That’s been the game since - every damn day, just sharpening the knife.

And I didn’t just sell - I built. Here’s the CV flex:

• Sales Ops Lead @ Brainwave – Managed 35 reps. Orchestrated outbound, lead routing, and full-funnel domination.

Then Web3 happened.

Worked on a metaverse project at the agency. Saw smart contracts for the first time - and man, it felt like magic. Jumped into crypto headfirst. Landed at LAToken, learned everything from token listing to market making to how exchanges actually function.

Got tired of the smoke and mirrors. Wanted the real thing. Action. Metrics. Actual revenue.

Joined BingX. KOL management. Trading volume. Campaigns. South Asia and MENA expansion. We’re scaling a monster, and I’m right at the heart of it.
