It doesn't matter if you:
• Have a great opener
• The best tone in the world
• A super-relevant pitch for them

You will catch some prospects at a bad time.

You will call people who hate being called.

Some prospects will just hate your voice.

The hard part is not making the call.
It's knowing you may do everything right and still lose.
Just like assembling IKEA furniture with the instructions.

This is why cold calling is a game of resilience.
(and IKEA is a form of masochism)

Cold calling is not about politeness.

6. DM your connection before applying – referrals increase your chances of being hired

7. Skip skill level bars – they don’t add much value
8. Focus on achievements, not just responsibilities
9. Keep it simple – concise bullet points for easy reading
10. Tailor your CV to each job – highlight relevant experience
