Provide leadership and staff support to the coalition of community partners by rapport building and cooperative relationships within the organization, including volunteer partner agencies, agency staff, civic and business leaders, and individuals seeking services.  Assist in communicating the objectives and services of the Tobacco Education and Prevention Coalition to the general public, community agencies, civic leaders, and professional groups. Provide education through dynamic presentations in front of small groups and large audiences, the local media, schools, and healthcare professionals.  Prepare budgetary goals in conjunction with the State of Indiana fiscal cycle. Provide measurable outcomes and statistical reports for all programs.

Program Coordinator

Department of Social Work Adjunct Instructor teaching Fall Semester SOC-410 Social Welfare Policy: Analysis and Advocacy. 
Created a 16-week syllabus for senior-level students that included planned lectures, assignments, tests and in-field experience to correspond with the necessary course curriculum while fostering an environment of critical thinking in cohesion with the mission and values of the University.  Evaluated and monitored student performance by utilizing retention software, Starfish, and learning management system application, Blackboard.
- Through the promotion of strong connections with local and state government, provided multiple opportunities for students to hear from pertinent policy-makers to gain real-world experience in the field of policy advocacy.    
	- Collaborated with the department chair, professors and staff to meet department objectives and goals.

Adjunct Instructor

Habitat for Humanity

Maintained a strong network of relationships with the business community, civic leaders, individual donors, and the faith-based community to secure funds to build homes for struggling, working families in Northwest Indiana.  Captured funding to raise $500,000 for new construction and renovation projects in 2017-2018.  Prepared budgetary goals for 2017-2018.  Utilized convincing and persuasive language to seek grant opportunities.

U.S. House of Representatives

Responsibilities include assisting constituents of the First Congressional District with federal agencies, such as the Social Security Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs, with both verbal and written communication, by serving as a liaison to facilitate a prompt resolution to their inquiry.  Other duties include organizing and participating in community outreach programs, such as job fairs and town hall forums, assisting with the coordination of Military Academy Night and researching and writing Congressional Records honoring individuals, organizations and events.

Indiana Democratic Party

Directed and supervised multiple campaign offices throughout the First Congressional District of Indiana for Senate Candidate Joe Donnelly and gubernatorial candidate John Gregg.
Organized and worked alongside regional labor leaders, elected officials, statehouse campaigns,  Washington D.C. canvass consultants and local Democratic organizations to recruit volunteers for phone banks and door-to-door canvassing; reached weekly goals of over 15,000 voter contacts.  Results of 2012 Senate race included winning over 67% of the vote in Lake and Porter Counties.  Results of 2012 gubernatorial race included winning 55% of the vote in Porter County and 67% of the vote in Lake County.

Regional Field Director

Duties included opening and closing customer service office, preparing all cash registers, counting money for nightly deposits, creating a schedule of over 30 people, maintaining computer 
equipment for entire store, including printers, monitors, hard drives and kiosks.  Responsible for hiring, evaluating and terminating employees.  In addition, closing general manager duties are assigned six times per month.  Duties included supervising nine departments and managing customer issues and complaints.  Completed comprehensive Manager Trainee program which included quads that required a 90% or better test score to advance through the program.   Accomplishments as Front Office Manager included increasing sales and profitability by performing 17% over projected sales for 2006 and 8% over projected sales for 2007, as well as being awarded the Gold Standard award in 2005 for keeping accounts payable corrections down, keeping sales above projections, lowering expenses and keeping the ratio of payroll to sales under set limits.  This award was presented to only five stores out of 200.
