Vibe coding hakkında birkaç satır da ben yazmak istedim, malum şu an gündemin en sıcak konularından.

Geçen yıl bu zamanlar bile acaba vibe coding ile bir noktaya getirebilir miydik Visanom'u diye düşünmeden edemiyorum. 

Geçtiğim yıldan itibaren Lovable, Replit, Cursor gibi araçları aktif olarak kullanarak önce basit web syafaları ve lead magnetler yapmaya başladım.

I see a growing trend of startups looking for senior business developers or consultants on a strictly "commission-only" basis. The logic is simple: "We pay when we earn."

It sounds safe for the startup, but it signals two red flags to a professional consultant:

Lack of Confidence: You aren't confident enough in your cash flow or conversion rates to invest upfront.

Lack of Commitment: If you aren't paying a retainer, you don't value the consultant's time, only the potential outcome.

In Turkish, we have a saying: "You don't spare the chicken if you expect a goose." 

If you want high-quality leads, professional representation, and access to a senior network, you need to invest in it. A commission-only model often attracts desperate amateurs, not the partners who can actually scale your business.

Last year, my startup was dead.

I built something nobody wanted. Well, except me. 😅

I burned $250k of my own savings.

Did a few pivots. All failed.

Sounds like a disaster, right?

Here's the thing:
- When you're deep in the trenches, you see things others can't.
- You spot gaps nobody's talking about.
- You feel pain points in your bones.

During that "failed" startup, I kept running into the same problem over and over.

Company data providers was a total mess. Bad quality, high pricing, can't even touch. And getting lookalikes, semantic search? Way too expensive.

I needed it. Badly.

That's how CompanyEnrich was born.

Just a real problem I lived through.

So if you're in the middle of your own mess right now:
- Don't blindly follow "never give up" advice. Sometimes quitting the wrong thing opens the door to the right thing. 
- Get the lesson from each failure and adapt fast. 
- Don't take it personally. 
- Trust yourself.

Your biggest failure might be hiding your next thing. You just can't see it yet.

We just built full native n8n integration in 30 minutes.
A year ago this would have taken 2 weeks.

Here is the context:

Our customers have been using CompanyEnrich inside n8n for a while, but it was manual (via HTTP nodes).

We knew we needed to build a native integration (also good for brand visibility), but we kept pushing it down the list because, it sounded exhausting.
- Learning how n8n integrations work
- Reading their specs
- Coding the integration
- Testing endpoints
- Writing documentation

That’s too many energy for a tiny team.

So last night, I decided to “vibe-code” it.

Here is exactly what I did:
1. I fed Claude Code a few existing n8n nodes as samples.
2. I uploaded our OpenAPI specs.
3. I told it to do the rest.

The Result: Start to finish, just ~30 minutes.

Amazing! I'd never though anything like this could be possible.

I am so excited about all this AI stuff, especially for bootstrap startups. It’s giving us leverage we've never had before.

The technical stuff that used to eat weeks of our time, now takes just few hours.

Now we can spend more time on the things that actually matter and doing things that don't scale.

The technical gap between bootstrapped startups and VC-backed teams is getting smaller and smaller.

AI is giving startups superpowers.
We can build faster.
We can operate leaner.

Company lookalikes aren't just for building lead lists.
There's another use case that's been working really well for outbound.

Lookalike companies aren't just "similar companies in the same space." They're contextually similar profiles. Similar industry. Similar size. Similar positioning.

They're often competing for the same customers. 

Basically, they're competitors to each other.

So company lookalikes can be used to identify competitors at scale.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
I remember I got a cold email few months ago. I was skimming, ready to mark as spam :P

Then I saw my direct competitor mentioned in the text. Full attention. Instantly.

We're wired to pay attention to competition. If someone mentions our biggest rival, we listen. 

It's not rational. It's primal. It creates instant relevance. It screams "I know your market."

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲:
- Take lookalike companies from CompanyEnrich Lookalikes API
- Pass them through an LLM
- Identify the most relevant competitors

I built a Clay table that runs this automatically. Comment "competitor play" and I'll send it over.

I caught the "vibe virus."
Not the kind that sends you to bed.

The kind that makes you question every single SaaS subscription you're paying for.

Today I saw a post blow up on Hacker News: “Your app subscription is now my weekend project.” (discussion link in comments)

And that’s exactly how I feel.

So many tools we pay $20–$50/month for could be “vibe‑coded” in a weekend with AI - at least for our use cases.

I needed a simple announcement popup on CompanyEnrich landing page.

Webflow made it so painful/complex I nearly threw my laptop.
I asked Claude to write me a JS file that handles it.
10 minutes. Done. Free forever.

Then I looked at my $25/month cookie consent subscription.
Asked Claude: "What does minimum compliance actually require?"
It researched best practices. Came back with clear answers. Built me a compliant JS file.
$25/month → $0/month.

Now that I’ve tasted blood, I’m looking at every subscription I have 😅

𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗬
For the last 10 years, the advice was “Don’t build it, buy it.”
But AI has completely changed the math on "build vs buy."
Not sure exactly where this is headed, but things are about to get messy for a lot of small SaaS market.

And, Webflow, I’m coming for you too 😅

I’ve been playing with Claude Cowork for a few days, it's not kind a vibe coding magic.
But once you shift your mindset, it becomes a superpower.

It’s not "vibe coding" where you just say a word and an app appears in 10 minutes.

But once you start asking, "What can I actually get done with this?" it becomes a different tool entirely. 

I know people who built careers on being really good at Excel. Or being the person who could write a optimized multi table SQL query. Those skills opened doors.

Using AI tools well is becoming that same kind of skill.

You don't need to be the expert anymore. The AI is the expert. You just need to know what problems you're trying to solve.

We don't code just to code. We don't write just to write. 

We do these things to solve problems. The medium was never the point, but results were.

Here is a small example from my own life:
I’ve been spending 1–2 hours every cycle just dealing with invoices, downloading them, checking if anything is missing, making sure details are correct, cross checking, etc.

I wanted to see if Claude Cowork could handle at least some part of it. Now it handles almost all of that repetitive work for me.

It still surprises me that more people aren't using this in their daily lives yet. We are still in the very early stages; the tech is ready, but our mindsets just need to catch up.

Next challenge: I'm going to feed it my credit card statement and ask it to hunt down every single matching invoice. Wish me luck. 😅
