Geçen yıl bu zamanlar bile acaba vibe coding ile bir noktaya getirebilir miydik Visanom'u diye düşünmeden edemiyorum. 

Geçtiğim yıldan itibaren Lovable, Replit, Cursor gibi araçları aktif olarak kullanarak önce basit web syafaları ve lead magnetler yapmaya başladım. 

Yakın zamanda ise ilk bireysel kapsamlı projeme başladım ve paslanmış, hatta sıfırlanma noktasına gelen yazılım bilgilerimi de güncelleme fırsatı elde ediyorum.

I see a growing trend of startups looking for senior business developers or consultants on a strictly "commission-only" basis. The logic is simple: "We pay when we earn."

It sounds safe for the startup, but it signals two red flags to a professional consultant:

Lack of Confidence: You aren't confident enough in your cash flow or conversion rates to invest upfront.

Lack of Commitment: If you aren't paying a retainer, you don't value the consultant's time, only the potential outcome.

In Turkish, we have a saying: "You don't spare the chicken if you expect a goose." 

If you want high-quality leads, professional representation, and access to a senior network, you need to invest in it. A commission-only model often attracts desperate amateurs, not the partners who can actually scale your business.

Let's normalize fair compensation for the effort of opening doors, not just the luck of closing them.

At some point this year, churn will become my KPI.

Not officially.
But if I look at how much time I have spent on it in the last few months, it is pretty clear.

🦄 2025 was a strong year for HeyReach.io.  
Growth was solid. Revenue moved as predicted. You all know it. 

Still, the metric I kept coming back to was churn.
Who is leaving❓And why ⁉️ 

If you look at the last quarter of the year, it always starts the same way.
Black Friday hits. We sell like crazy. Accounts are activated. Everything looks great. 

And then the festive period starts almost immediately.
December makes you look at churn whether you want to or not.

Celebrations everywhere. 
Decision-makers checked out... 

Emails like “Can we pause our account until January?”
Usually followed by “Enjoy your Christmas, Ebru.” 🎄 

Add to that my personal favorite. 
Two Christmas periods in the same religion.
One ends. Another starts. More celebration. Longer inactivity.

🤷‍♀️ That is where churn screams.
And honestly, that is where everything starts feeling a bit dramatic.  

Seasonality is real.
But holidays are not the only thing going on.

One thing I keep noticing is internal team changes on the customer side.
The person who set everything up leaves. Someone new joins. Context is gone. 

Ownership is unclear.
That is when a tool slowly turns from “helping us” into “something we need to deal with”.

🤌 This made us take deeper action. 

Together with Ilija Stojkovski & Umer Ishaq, we are working on a more systematic way to catch these moments earlier and actually do something about them.

Frustration is knowing this should have been part of the platform from day one.


That was the feeling. 🤡 

With a strong affiliate program already in place, the missing piece was obvious.
