Director of Board, former Chair and now member of Investment Committee to invest $100M of assets. Founded in 1991, TAF’s mission is to invest in urban solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. To date, TAF has invested more than $60 million, helping the City of Toronto save more than $55 million on its energy bills while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 15% below 1990 levels – exceeding the 2012 Kyoto target. The Private Capital Market Association (PCMA) is a not-for-profit association for firms active in the exempt securities market, founded in 2002. The role of the PCMA is to be the effective national voice of the exempt market participants across Canada to securities regulators, government agencies, other industry associations and the capital markets. As a director on the board, Jacoline's activities are:
- Audit Committee
- Marketing and  networking on behalf of exempt market dealers who raise capital for private placements. 
- Reviewed advocacy to advance Canada's transparency in finance for the private markets.
- Established and achieved Diversity mandate: promoted access to capital for women business owners, 
- Established  and used synergies with stakeholder relationships to support, coach and network women in business. Organized with City of Toronto, universities and Ernst & Young sponsorship and the hosting of a Women’s Day conference for 150 female owners with the theme of “How to raise capital”. Showcased successful women entrepreneurs who had achieved equity finance. 
-Recruited Chapter leaders and Board members from across the country and organized events with Securities Commissions to engage local chapters and communities.
-Enhanced communications with the national membership and stakeholders by establishing social media strategy using LinkedIn Group, Facebook, Twitter to inform membership and stakeholders about EMDA advocacy, benefits and networking events.
-Established the EMDA Deal of the Year awards and organized the awards event.

In my role on Burgundy’s private client team, I have the privilege of working with accomplished clients who have created significant wealth through various means, such as entrepreneurship, executive leadership, family legacies, and retirement. My mission is to empower clients to achieve their financial goals while creating enduring value for themselves, their families, their businesses, and their communities.

With a strong passion for entrepreneurship and a deep commitment to board involvement, I bring more than two decades of professional experience in finance, including wealth management, corporate finance, and family office private equity investments. I am also the author of three finance books for business owners - the most recent book titled "Money Magnet" comes recommended by the Richard Ivey School of Business and Toronto Metropolitan University. 

For 2023/2024, I was elected President of The Ticker Club. I hold a position as a Director on the Board of The Fraser Institute, and I am also actively involved with the Institute of Corporate Directors, Southwestern Ontario chapter. My board involvement spans more than two decades, including over 14 years as a Director on the Board of The Atmospheric Fund, which manages assets worth $100 million. During my tenure, I had the privilege of chairing both the Strategy and Investment Committees and serving as a member of the Audit Committee. I currently remain engaged with the Investment Committee. Additionally, I previously served as Chair at the OCAD University Imagination Catalyst and a Director on the Board of the PCMA.

I hold a BA in Industrial Relations from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Witwatersrand. I have earned the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
