We were doing well & it all crashed. For the most part, the large companies stopped using agencies & brought projects in-house

And when an "expert" seems too good to be true, priced way too low, it's time to dig a little deeper. 

Check their offer, look at their actual clients, were they recomneded and definitely scrutinize their LinkedIn profile. 🤔

Last year, I made a tough but necessary decision to let go of some clients who were paying around $1K/month. 

Why? 

Because they had $10K/month problems.

Creating more engaging emails and posts. The breakdown is explained in the video, but the idea for this post came from a question in a previous comment.

Sometimes the best content comes from the most unexpected places – like a question from a follower! ✨ 

Recently, I posted something, and within an hour, a great question popped up that got me thinking. 

Nancy asked if Skoop could be used like Gmail for creating actual emails. And my answer? A resounding YES, but with a twist! 🤔

It got me thinking about how the core functionality of creating compelling messages is so similar, whether it's a LinkedIn post or an email. The structure, the flow, the goal of grabbing attention – it's all there. The main difference? The hook.


Here’s how that question led to a whole new piece of content:

★ The Spark: Nancy’s question about using Skoop with Gmail was spot on. It highlighted the versatility of the tool Skoop - Instant Video and the underlying principles of good communication.

★ The Demonstration: 
I decided the best way to explain was to show. So, I recorded a quick Skoop video demonstrating how the AI can reformat text within Gmail, just like it does for LinkedIn posts. While it works well, I noticed it’s not quite as seamless as the integration we’ve built directly into LinkedIn.

It's about showing up consistently, offering value, and being a real human being, not just another profile in the feed. ✨

Here's how I've been shifting my focus, and it's made a HUGE difference:

▶️ Shift from "Reach" to "Relationship": Instead of obsessing over how many eyeballs are on a post, I'm asking, "How many actual conversations did this spark?" Even a few genuine interactions are worth more than thousands of passive views. ✅

▶️ Personalize Your Outreach: Generic messages get ignored. Period. Sending a quick, personalized video or a thoughtful message that references something specific about them? That’s how you stand out. It shows you've actually taken the time. 🚀 (Remember the "sandwich method" we talked about? Text/video/text? Still a winner! 🥪)

▶️ Be Generous with Value: Share what you know, offer help, and be a resource. People will remember those who helped them without asking for anything in return. That's how you build goodwill. ⭐

▶️ Engage Authentically: When someone comments on your post, don't just "like" it. Respond thoughtfully. Ask follow-up questions. Show you're actually listening. It’s the small, consistent efforts that build strong bonds. 🤟🏼

This isn't about chasing vanity metrics anymore. It's about building a community, fostering trust, and creating a network of people who genuinely want to engage with you and what you do. That’s the secret sauce! 😉

3 rules to approach the weekend

The weekend often brings a moment of reflection, doesn't it? 

It's a natural time to pause and consider how we navigate our weeks and what truly matters. 


Here's what I find works:

★ First, during the week, aim to work both good and hard. If you can't manage both, prioritize working good. Because honestly, working hard without purpose or quality just doesn't add up to much. It's about effectiveness, not just effort. ✅

★ Second, take a moment to genuinely thank the universe for the time you have on this planet. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind, but a little gratitude can shift your entire outlook. It reminds you of the bigger picture and all the opportunities available.

★ Third, and this is crucial, when it's possible, create a clear separation between your work and your personal life. Cherish your loved ones. If you don't have loved ones currently, then love yourself fiercely! That good energy and those positive actions will naturally attract your future connections. It's amazing how that works. 🚀

This approach isn't about being lazy; it's about being intentional with our energy and our time. It's about building a life that's not just productive, but also deeply fulfilling.

You have to be "Mentally Thick" as an entrepreneur. And you will take the occasional beating. 

It is not really what happens to you, it is how you handle it. 

You know, in sales, it's easy to get knocked down. 

I’ve been there. 

Seven deals lined up, all looking promising, then BAM – they all fall through, and the money just… vanishes. 

It’s a massive hit to your confidence, that’s for sure. 🤯 

You have to develop a certain thickness, a resilience, to push past that and remind yourself that maybe, just maybe, those weren't the right clients, or maybe you missed something in the process.

Don't dwell on the "what ifs" but focus on improvement. 

If you can refine your service or product based on those experiences, that’s where the real growth happens. It’s that constant drive to be better, to learn from every setback, that separates those who eventually succeed from those who give up. ✨

Here’s a breakdown of how I approach navigating those tough sales cycles, supporting current clients, and keeping the momentum going:

★ KEEPING YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME ✅
→   Acknowledge the Blow: It's okay to feel discouraged. Sales is tough, and rejection is part of the game. Don't beat yourself up.
→  The Mental Thickening: You need to cultivate a mindset that sees these setbacks as learning opportunities, not failures. Every deal that doesn't close is a data point.
→  Process Over Personality: Shift your focus from personal blame to analyzing the sales process itself. Where did things break down? What can be improved for next time? Also, using a proven method for sales systems on multiple channels really does help drive your brand and business (we do this for our own clients' success). 

★ LEARNING FROM THE FALLOUT 💥
→  Client Fit Analysis: Were these clients truly a good fit for your offering? Sometimes, a "no" is actually a "yes" to finding a better-aligned customer.
→  Process Refinement: Look at every step of your sales cycle. Was there a miscommunication? Was the value proposition not clear enough? Was the onboarding process too complex?
→  Continuous Improvement: Use the insights gained to tweak your approach, your materials, and your understanding of your ideal client. This iterative process is crucial for long-term success.

★ PUSHING FORWARD 🚀
→  Focus on the Next Opportunity: Once you’ve learned and adjusted, you have to move on. Dwelling on the past will only hold you back.
→  Belief in the Vision: Remember why you started. Your drive and belief in what you offer are what will carry you through the difficult patches.
→  Celebrate Small Wins: Acknowledge every small step forward. This builds momentum and reinforces that positive progress is being made.

Don't let a few rough patches derail your journey. 

Keep refining, keep pushing, and keep your eyes on the prize.

- Tier 3: Premium Offering:
This becomes the natural next step once that trust and value are established.

★ FOCUS ON TRANSFORMATION, NOT FEATURES:
Stop talking about tasks and hours. Instead, paint a picture of the "before" and "after." What's the ultimate aspiration, the real business outcome they're dreaming of? That's what truly resonates. 🚀

★ HYPER-PERSONALIZED OUTREACH:
Volume and generic scripts are out. It's about using tools for personalized video or intentional messaging. When prospects feel genuinely "seen," the conversation shifts from pressure to possibility.

★ HUMANIZING THE PROFESSIONAL:
Share personal insights and fresh perspectives. Act as a trusted advisor, suggesting solutions that genuinely help, even if they aren't your own. It's about being a helpful consultant, not a pushy salesperson. ✅

Coordinate across 5–8 marketing channels using a strategic roadmap. Consistency is key, showing up where your buyer actually spends their time.

Don't need to be perfect. You just need to start...

This goes for you, coaches, consultants, SaaS providers, service-based entrepreneurial businesses, and even dinosaurs (lol see the video). 

You know, it's easy to look at successful people and think they had it all figured out from day one. 

The truth is, most groundbreaking ideas start with very little.

I remember back in the day when my gamification business was really taking off, hitting close to that million-dollar year mark. For many, that's the dream. But I knew there had to be an easier, more scalable way to build and connect.

Updated risk assessment every 3 months & support plans every 6 months. Processed all agreements for new tenants eg tenancy agreements, rent cards, and set up direct deductions/standing orders. 

Recorded all keywork sessions and interactions with clients on Summary Contact Record & DCR (Detailed Contact Record) and supported clients to achieve their goals via their action plan.

Responsible for booking in and booking out clients and minimizing voids, and ensuring voids work was completed to a high standard. Ensured that the properties were maintained by raising repairs, logging, and maintaining service records to ensure that the properties meet the standards required by the landlord.

Dinah is a compassionate, empathic, resourceful, non-conformist individual that stands by her truth. Notably, it goes without saying that her patience and ability to gain a deeper understanding of the emotional matters of the heart with such intuitive insight is what makes her exceptionally unique. Help Inn Folk provides temporary housing for rough sleepers, veterans, single men, women, domestic violence survivors, senior citizens anyone who need a place to call home.

From a young age, Dinah has been resourceful, braiding her classmates' hair, doing paper rounds, washing cars, and working in the local pet shop from the tender age of 10 years old all before she got on the official payroll. Little Dinah was determined to generate income understanding the value of money and the echos of her parents to work for what you want, and that education was the key, her persistence would soon pave the way for the world that awaited her.

Her interest in improving the lives of others through therapy landed her in prestigious roles where she provided emotional support for clients such as the Metropolitan Police, Apple, Virgin Airlines, London Borough Councils, and Health City as a Senior Partner and later on opening her own private practice in London and then relocating to Atlanta. Her childhood hobby in cosmetology would soon create an opportunity for her to educate people on the importance of being true to yourself and get others to think about redefining new standards of beauty. As a natural hair enthusiast known for her creative natural hairstyles and passion for demonstrating the versatility of natural afro hair, she would birth the book Kissi Kurls-Love Your Natural Hair ‘ which has been described by readers as comprehensive, instructional, scientific research on natural afro hair that is a very enlightening read.

Dinah is a people person and enjoys uplifting people and increasing their awareness of their ability to co-create their own reality by adopting principles that are reinforced by enrolling in mentorship, actively reading/listening audiobooks, attending workshops, or events with the aim to encourage personal development. She believes that it is in the relationship with ourselves and others, that we have the greatest capacity for happiness; it is her hope that she can help increase people's motivation to pursue more of the joy their lives can offer.
