I built the content function from the ground up and shifted the company's acquisition strategy from 100% paid acquisition to close to 30% of sales-qualified leads coming from organic channels, lowering CPL and drastically improving our CAC ratio. 
 
I also recruited and scaled the content team from 1 to 5 across 3 markets (US, UK, France). 

Our mission was to tell the #CollaborativeLearning story through all content channels to drive brand awareness and organic growth. 📈

Good Boss, Bad Boss

Since 2020, I've been on a journey to figure out what it means to be a good boss. And surprise, surprise, being a good boss is hard. You’re expected to play many different roles—a coach, a cheerleader, a therapist, and even a police officer at times. Some days it takes everything you have because everyone is looking to you, even when you're having a bad day. Among other things, it takes a ton of emotional intelligence, really strong communication skills, and a lot of optimism. It requires balancing the needs of your team with the goals of the company, which are sometimes at odds, and you often have to make tough decisions that not everyone will agree with. You gotta keep your ego in check and your skin thick.

Through all of this, I've come to realize that being a boss is not just another job. To me, it’s really been more of a self-discovery journey. I’ve had to confront my imposter syndrome, self-doubt, people-pleasing tendencies, and really dig deep to find who I am as a leader and how I want to show up for myself and my team. It’s not been easy. I’m still making so many mistakes and learning so much every day.

And that's why I've created 'Good Boss, Bad Boss'— the podcast that attempts to explore all these messy feelings. The emotional aspects of being a manager and the personal stories that shape our leadership styles. There’ll be no expert tips or how-tos, but real, honest conversations with new & experienced managers—and employees—on the making of a good or bad boss.

My goal (hope) is to promote more diverse leadership styles and create a community of compassionate and emotionally intelligent leaders (no more toxic bosses!)

One month ago, I joined PayFit as Global Brand & Communications Director.

To be honest, I was not sure I wanted another job.

A difficult last chapter had made me question what company culture and leadership were really supposed to feel like. I told myself that if I ever said yes again, it would only be to a place that felt deeply aligned with my values and the kind of work I want to do in the world.

This first month at PayFit has gone a long way in answering that.

From the recruitment process to my first weeks on the ground, I have felt the culture, the care, and the clarity in a very real way. 
People look out for each other. Decisions are explained. 
Leaders show up, take accountability and lead through their actions, not just their statements.

7 days in, I found myself speaking at our leadership forum, presenting to 70+ leaders about brand. What struck me was not the size of the room, but the openness in it. The questions, the curiosity, the shared sense that brand is not a marketing project. It is a team effort.

The inside is strong. My job is to help the outside match it.

And what I’ve loved most so far are the everyday moments that prove it:
People asking the right questions. Being willing to stop the train, rethink, and rework if we’re not headed in the right direction. The courage to challenge the status quo, together. 💪

That kind of culture becomes your reputation just as much as any campaign.✨

Here is to month one at PayFit, and to building a brand that feels as real on the outside as it does on the inside. 💙
