Managing the sales strategies for six consumer-aimed web-sites, I have increased the revenue streams by up to 72% since being in post. I have achieved this by building relationships with customers ranging from small start-ups to the big blue chip companies, and devising packages which meet their marketing objectives, offering them an excellent ROI in terms of brand and product awareness.

As the Advertising Manager I was solely responsible for gaining revenue through advertising. Working in partnership with the editor, the magazine grew, and thanks to much improved revenues we were able to increase the frequency to eight issues a year, as well as publish additional supplements throughout the year. In 2005 we expanded into an online platform, with the web-site www.craftbusiness.com , which I was able to make work as an additional revenue stream. As well as building relationships with clients over the telephone, I also represented the title at international trade fairs, and conducted meetings with key customers.
