Tomorrow I get to do something I haven’t done in over 7 years.
I’m boarding an airplane ✈️
And I’m leaving Canada.
That still feels a bit unreal.

The last few years have been… a lot:

Non-stop doctor appointments
COVID (because of course)
Two hip surgeries
3.5 years on home dialysis
A kidney transplant
Plenty of business ups and downs

Travel wasn’t exactly in the cards during all that.

But tomorrow?
I’m heading to Costa Rica for a month 🇨🇷

Tropical heat.
Pool time.
Zero parkas.
Soaking up every minute like it’s overdue interest.

I’m especially pumped because I actually love flying.
The quiet. The hum. The reminder that you’re moving forward—literally.
Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Excited definitely does.
