With over 15 years of experience in program management, community development, and grant administration, I’m committed to creating social impact through strategic initiatives and partnerships. My journey has taken me across various sectors—from managing multi-million-dollar budgets for public arts programs to distributing critical resources for underserved communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Throughout my career, I have remained focused on one key goal: fostering positive, lasting change in the communities I serve- there's really no other way in my world. 

My career began with a passion for service that was ignited during graduate school, where I raised funds to support volunteer work with Operation Crossroads Africa. I traveled to Ghana for two months, contributing to impactful community projects like school construction, well-digging, and food production. This early experience in community work laid the foundation for my ongoing commitment to equity and social justice.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of working in roles that allowed me to drive economic empowerment, racial equity, and community engagement on a larger scale. At The Open Society Foundations, I managed the $1.7M Soros Arts Fellowship, overseeing grant disbursements and logistics for socially engaged artists. During my tenure at the New York City Council, I distributed $5M+ annually in capital funding to over 170 non-profits, ensuring resources were allocated to address food insecurity, public housing improvements, and educational infrastructure.

What drives me is my ability to build relationships, collaborate across sectors, and lead complex projects that have a tangible impact on people’s lives.
