Collaborates with a development team to track progress and remove potential roadblocks around access and system changes for on-time delivery of capabilities to the client. Tasked with leading teams alongside Product Leads and Technical Leads to release working software to internal and external end-users using Scrum Methodology. 

Clients include Local companies providing backend APIs and data products to modernize their technology stack for their 800 employees and 20k end users for their services.

Coaching 3 - 9  developers on two teams, one internal and one external, on Agile practices, leading to increased velocity, better predictability, and a greater understanding of the work we complete. 
Fully facilitating Agile Methodology, practices, and ceremonies by running all internal and external team meetings and daily stand-ups with software engineers, product owners, and architect.

Owning biweekly planning, weekly refinements, demos, and retrospectives.
Owning all regular stakeholder and client reporting, i.e., project progress, release timelines, release checklists, and risk logs.

Managerial oversight of team and sub-contractor biweekly timesheets, biweekly invoice preparations, and monthly productivity reports. Submitting and tracking (an average of 10 per week)  the team’s service and change requests.

Coaching teams on the why behind scrum ceremonies to help build a custom project management framework for each team, including that team’s way of working. Delivering courageous and sometimes challenging feedback to leadership and teams.

Scrum Master for multiple (2-3) Agile teams in various modules and mentored new hires. Collaborated with other team members and management to create training materials and processes for Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Delivery Teams.

Transitioned teams from traditional Project Management to Agile, allowing teams to determine their way of working for better flow and efficiencies within the team.

Coached Product Owners on their role, Agile, project/module documentation, and strategic planning so the team can always know the priority. 

Trained 10 - 15 Scrum Masters (including Team Lead) and new hires (3+) on Agile, facilitating meetings and applying Agile concepts, in preparation for them leading their own teams.

Created a transition guide to help other Scrum Masters transition teams to Agile for better adoption of the framework and transparency of the process.

Successfully mitigated conflict with a team using trainings and exercised for the 5 Dysfunctions of a Team.

Agile Coach

Chesapeake Energy

Collaborated on the Data Platform Modernization project in IT. An agile project leveraging the Scrum process to retire the legacy data warehouse and other legacy platforms for the company. Team of 3 devs. and 5 QA. 

Gathered requirements from stakeholders, producing user stories for the team to review and approve before building the product, reducing roadblocks on the project.

Defined and prioritized user stories in the backlog, using Azure DevOps (VSTS) for backlog grooming and sprint planning, providing clear sprint goals.

Examined SQL queries, identifying data objects needed for migration, resulting in the retirement and consolidation of reports, providing a single version of the truth for thousands of end users.

Agile Product Owner / Scrum Master

Served as an Analyst on the Land Compliance team, partnering with others to ensure the Land Department followed business rules and corporate SOX/audit controls.

Designed process maps using Visio, illustrating to internal/external auditors the work completed by the business to comply with the SOX/audit controls.

Analyzed data for anomalies and business processes for efficiencies resulting in 100% SOX compliance and a reduction in audit review time, saving the company money and increasing shareholder confidence.

Mentored all land disciplines on data quality and financial compliance, an open and transparent presentation to groups on their work's financial impact on the company, resulting in a more proactive department regarding data quality and compliance.

Business Compliance Analyst III

Initiated a year-long program that provides employees with insight and knowledge from each land discipline to foster understanding and build relationships between groups. The program promoted leadership and career development.

Shadowed employees from each area of the Land Department, gaining a better understanding of the people, processes, procedures, and impacts each group has on one another. 

Worked together with colleagues in each department, increasing trust and efficiency through knowledge sharing, and decreasing the amount of duplicate work completed between the teams.

Division Order Analyst III

Represented the Land Department in the implementation of MDM, the company's owner data management system. I trained end-users on how to use the system and tested the system's integration to SAP and other company systems. 

Created, tested, and trained end-users on owner set up and new business processes for MDM, SAP, and legacy systems, resulting in the product being implemented 4 weeks ahead of schedule.

Advised stakeholders on business rules, aligning system data with business needs and financial compliance, enabling more informed decisions.

Verified and examined 50% of the data converted from the company’s legacy accounting system Artesia, resulting in cleaner and better-integrated data.

Project Lead - Owner Master Data Management (MDM)

I set up operated and non-operated wells for payment, research inquiries, process transfers and perform other administrative tasks for wells located in the Mid-Continent area.

Calculated ownership for company-operated and non-operated wells drilled in the Mid-Con area.

Inspected leases, title opinions, ownership deeds, and contracts to determine mineral ownership in a well, resulting in royalty payments for owners.

Division Order Technician II & Division Order Analyst III

I set up new royalty owners and processed division orders. I also processed W9's, B-Notices, ran the daily audit and helped train new co-workers.

Special Projects Technician

As a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, I have over six years of experience in Agile coaching and project management, supporting software development teams with a product mindset and a focus on continuous improvement. Delivering on time quality products that meet customer needs.
