I’m a qualified lawyer with several years’ experience in both private practice and as in-house legal counsel at leading law firms and organisations. Alongside my legal career, I create relatable and impactful content on social media aimed at positively supporting those affected by negative corporate workplace behaviours.

I’m a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, particularly in the workplace, and I regularly speak about improving wellbeing for legal professionals and corporate leaders. Drawing on my personal journey and professional experience, I focus on the importance of mental health support, work-life balance, and creating healthier workplace cultures.

I’ve delivered talks at TEDx on the impact of toxic masculinity on men’s mental health, at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford on workplace wellbeing in the legal profession, and at Legal Geek on how Gen Z and Millennials are driving conversations about wellbeing. 

In addition to keynote speaking, I’ve contributed to national media including the BBC and ITV, and I regularly work with law firms, banks, and other corporate organisations to address culture and workplace wellbeing.

Now we’re struggling with back pain and updating LinkedIn to announce how thrilled/honored/humbled we are 🥲🥹

🐶As a creator, I’ve been fortunate to partner with some incredible organisation and be involved in some amazing opportunities, but partnering with Kezia Price  and the Tails.com | B Corp  team has been one of my favourites for a very simple reason: Penny.

🍃Penny has had such a positive impact on our days since we got her and we are obsessed with her (if that wasn’t obvious).

💙She’s changed the rhythm of our days. There’s more fresh air, more routine, more laughter and just more fun. The impact on our mental health and overall wellbeing has been real and she has no clue of her impact.

💪🏼Getting to showcase this bond hasn’t felt like work. It’s felt like documenting something that’s genuinely improved our mental health and wellbeing in so many ways. Working with a brand that genuinely understands that bond, that sees dogs as family, not just pets makes all the difference.

🐶And Penny absolutely loves her Tails food, so it’s a win win for her too.  She’s brought so much joy into our lives. We’re just lucky we get to share this and document this with her (one of the easiest colleagues we’ve ever had).

🤢Why are law firms still sending weekly team utilisation RAG reports to the whole team?

💀Is the purpose of this to give the partners in the team visibility on team member capacity and utilisation? Well they already have access to that all day everyday on the system and most teams have a dreaded capacity call every week too.

💀Is the purpose of circulating the weekly RAG rating to motivate people into not wanting to be in the red and work harder? Well it’s likely to have the opposite and embarrass and demotivate people.

🍃It’s unnecessary humiliation for team members who often have no control over their work load (holidays, time off, quiet periods, etc) and isn’t conducive to a psychologically safe and inclusive working environment.

👀So many of these firms that do this also loudly hark on about how the firm values mental wellbeing, a thriving culture and supporting its people so they feel included, valued and supported. Yet actively make individuals feel humiliated each week for no reason.

🍃 If a partner has a concern about performance/utilisation of a team member then speak with them directly and in a supportive manner so there can be understanding as to whats going on and how that team member can be supported.

☺️Here’s a thought, why don’t we start circulating a weekly RAG rating of all the firms that actively promote how people first, well being first, diverse and inclusive they are but the reality is the stark opposite…. maybe that humiliation and embarrassment might motivate them to change? Who knows…

📺Like most of us, when I finish work I move from looking at the medium sized screen to the big screen. 

📱More often than not, I’ve got the smaller screen in my hand to scroll at the same time. I’m half watching the show and it’s become such a habit that it almost feels automatic. It’s also not relaxing!

🍃Lately though, I’ve been trying to be more intentional with my downtime (especially when we get some peace and our puppy has calmed down). So now, when I put a show on, I’m making a conscious effort to leave my phone alone and properly lock in.

💙This gives me time to actually switch off from scrolling notifications and actually relax, decompress and immerse myself in the show im watching. I’m a big fan of a thriller/drama (Line of Duty and Trigger Point being two of my favourites). 

🙏🏼I’m also low key partial to a big of love island.  If my girlfriend’s watching it, I’ll often say I’m not watching it but somehow I end up sat and locked in anyway (big fan of Lucinda and Sean)

💪🏼So I’m excited to be joining the 2026 ITV Insiders community with Tasha Harris  and the ITV  gang and get involved and invested in some of the the incredible upcoming shows, event and opportunities ITV has planned for the year!

🚂 My mornings used to start the same way most of us do: grabbing my phone while still half asleep, doom scrolling, checking emails, and rushing out the door before I’d properly woken up.
 
😩 By the time I got on the train, my mind was already running ahead of the day, and the commute just felt like wasted time.
 
🍃 Now, I try to slow things down and be more intentional with it. I put my headphones on and press play on a book through Audible. Currently I’m listening to The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read by Philippa Perry.
 
💪 It’s thoughtful and calming, less about giving instructions and more about understanding where our habits and reactions come from, which makes it an easy, grounding listen first thing in the morning. It’s also really making me reflect on why I do certain things and exhibit certain behaviours!
 
💙 Listening instead of scrolling changes the pace completely. I’m not jumping between notifications or emails. I’m just sitting there, watching the world move past the window while listening. It gives my thoughts somewhere to land and helps me settle into the day rather than rush straight into it.
 
👨‍💼 Before the meetings and before the noise, I’m giving myself a bit of space to wake up properly. A few chapters slow my thoughts, steady my breathing, and ease me into the morning. It’s nothing dramatic or complicated, but starting slower makes everything feel clearer, lighter, and more manageable. Sometimes, that’s all you need.

🎧 If your mornings feel rushed or noisy, maybe try swapping the scroll for a story. Pop your headphones in, press play on Audible, and give yourself a few quiet chapters to unwind before the day begins. It’s a small shift, but it can completely change how you show up.
