2nd Engineer at $2M seed-funded startup transforming long-haul logistics, "Uber for Long-Haul Trucking". We built a system that facilitated tens of thousands of full loads for truck drivers across the states. Responsibilities included creating the automated bidding that won us jobs in auction platforms for our hundreds of drivers, its integration with a driver-facing app, our email client to service brokers that avoided Gmail's account spam detection, load board crawlers, our real-time call-center, a real-time performant dashboard for our operational team, and built on top of our micro-service oriented real-time distributed system to facilitate sourcing jobs and matching them with drivers.

Instrumental in the launch of two new products in Amazon Local Commerce and Amazon Consumables. At Local Commerce, I was part of a small team that tackled the technical challenges in the way of launching the Local Register, a mobile POS for merchants to accept credit card payments on their phone. Personal responsibilities included being the main agent for addressing HTML5 issues, working closely with our Technical Director, Product Manager, and Test Army. At Consumables, I was integral in helping a team meet a holiday season deadline for a massive overhaul of an existing retail website program, and had technical ownership of a tablet expansion to new countries.

Project Contract. Personally built EventMobi's first HTML5 app "Fusion". Fusion was the event industry’s first offline-capable HTML5 app to address the core industry challenges, it received runner-up recognition at the EIBTM Technology Watch Awards, and had skyrocketing adoption with 1000+ organizations and millions of users.

I am very proud to have worked with Bob and Bijan Vaez, and the rest of the initial EventMobi team and am inspired in awe of what they have accomplished toward becoming one of Toronto’s most exciting and well-respected startups.
