The Doge Pound

The Doge Pound was my first ever NFT project, and has a special place in my heart. 

I wore many hats and worked closely with the founder to shape the content and products strategy for The Doge Pound. 

It is different from my traditional consulting role (AI & Data Science) as I got to work on creative initiatives that I could never imagine working on before stepping into the Web3 world.

In this role, I led delivery teams for large programs of work for government clients providing advanced analytics solutions from ideation to implementation. 

Our responsibilities included operational maintenance of the solutions, post-implementation, to ensure they are well integrated within the business. 

Key projects:

1) Response & Recovery Program for a State Govt owned railway operator:
Led the program of projects to establish an advanced analytics capability and operating model, to improve forecasting and planning practices for factors affecting the demand and supply of train crew, rolling stock, and other critical resources, and to establish a culture of data-driven decision-making for train crew planning & staffing requirements forecasting.

Also, implemented a secure and high availability cloud-based analytics platform that enabled a shared environment for developers, business analysts, train service delivery coordinators, and other data consumers from various business units to work in a secure, reliable and collaborative environment

2) Workforce analytics solution for the state department of education:
Implemented a long-term solution for effective and efficient workforce planning for school staff for the state government.

In this role, I led delivery teams for data & analytics projects for multiple clients. 

Key projects:

1) Data discovery and current state assessment for a leading Lotteries, Wagering, and Gaming provider 
Developed a data flow tool to visualize how each data asset flows across all the systems to get a comprehensive understanding of the sensitive data assets and how they flow across all the systems within the organization. The data flow was consumed by the technology architecture and IT security team for higher data security and compliance with privacy regulations. 

2) Internal Audit tool for State Law Enforcement Agency 
Helped the client develop a data-driven approach for internal audit by developing an analytical process and creating interactive reports to streamline the audit process by identifying potential non-compliant areas.

Mu Sigma

In my previous role, my willingness to go the extra mile and take the initiative allowed me to learn innumerable things and move overseas early in my career. 

In this role, I led delivery teams for multiple advanced analytics projects across general insurance, life insurance, and banking for one of the largest Australian finance, insurance, and banking corporation. 

When I moved to Australia, I was the only billed person working for the client, along with the Account Manager. Gradually, we built it into a 50+ members team across India & Australia. 

Here is a list of some of the prominent projects I led.

1) Reduce PI claims cost: Led reporting and analytics initiatives to support the org-wide initiative of reducing home & motor claims costs. We implemented a reporting suite to provide a “one-stop-shop” for the day-to-day management of the home claims business. We also helped claims businesses in prioritizing problems across different claims functions such as triage, assessment, and repairer allocation and implemented advanced analytics solutions

2) Streamlining add-loan approval process: Worked with CX & the credit risk stakeholders to explore opportunities to leverage bank transaction data for better decision-making (Estimated incremental revenue ~$10 MN). Recommended automation of the overdraw payment authorization process to reduce customer churn. Built credit risk models leveraging bank transactions, for faster & seamless approval of add-loans.
 
3) Telematics adoption analysis - Analyzed telematics data sourced from a mobile application that helps track customers’ driving behavior and evaluated the benefits of using telematics-based driving behavior in insurance pricing.

4) Channel Profitability Assessment: Built reporting and analysis framework (& dashboards) to enable channel management based on profit insights for commercial insurance business. 

5) Attrition modeling for life insurance products: Developed predictive models for life insurance products,

Engagement Manager

In this role, I worked hands-on to execute multiple advanced analytics projects for fortune 500 clients in the US across the financial services & retail industry.

As part of this role, I led delivery teams, worked on pre-sales initiatives, regularly attended recruitment drives for hiring freshers, and conducted training sessions for SAS, Tableau, analytical processes, and machine learning. 

I worked on 15+ projects in a short period. Some of my prominent projects include. 

Leading P&C insurer in the US:

1) Fraud Analytics: Developed a framework to identify potential internal fraud cases by developing a rare event logistic regression model that identifies out-of-pattern payments ($800K savings within 3 months of implementation).

2) Churn analytics: Developed statistical (ML) models to predict customers at risk of attrition due to poor insurance claims experience.  

3) Large Loss Claims Prediction: Helped in fast-tracking the claim settlement process for large loss property claims caused due to fire by deploying statistical models and developing a framework to assist claim owners.

4) Customer Satisfaction Analysis: Recommended process modifications at various stages of a claims process by analyzing customer surveys & their impact on key financial metrics.

World's Largest Retailer:

1) Traffic Forecasting: Forecasted using panel data regression technique, the monthly traffic of every store and department for the next financial year to enable better planning for inventory, labor, vendor management etc.

2) Social Media Sentiment Analysis: Quantified the impact of social media sentiments on sales of specific products to evaluate the feasibility of social media marketing campaigns (Social media attributes contribute ~5% to sales).

3) Customer Segmentation: Segmented customers based on their purchasing behavior to help clients develop customized content for their marketing campaigns across stores and business units. Later, I applied this methodology in Banking.
