This position opened doors which nurtured the relationship building skills I had long been sharpening in my earlier career. Learning how to reach out to political nominees to earn a chance to be heard and discuss how their position could have a positive effect on the citizens as well as those who served the citizens of the community. Working with the President and other board members we were able to leverage our reputation for integrity and strength in adversity along with public opinion to appeal to the candidates we wanted to be heard by.

I conducted comprehensive HazMat and technical rescue training for both department personnel and the state rescue organization (CAPCOG), which directly contributed to statewide improvements in emergency response capabilities. 

My leadership also involved executing critical emergency response plans that incorporated regular training sessions to enhance team proficiency and community preparedness. Additionally, I led union negotiations and improved labor conditions by leveraging negotiation skills honed through educating and training team members on safety protocols and operational tactics. 

I oversaw the strategic management of resources for both emergency and training operations, demonstrating my expertise in logistical planning and resource efficiency. Furthermore, I implemented structured training and education programs that significantly improved team communication and coordination, ensuring high levels of incident management and adherence to safety standards across all operational scenarios.

I conducted comprehensive training needs assessments with company ownership to develop relevant training goals. Collaborating with vendors, I spearheaded platform integration training that significantly enhanced our team’s capabilities in using advanced operating systems and other software tools, addressing the adoption of new technology

To ensure we had the right talent in place to meet these objectives, I took charge of vetting, interviewing, and hiring processes, selecting candidates who were well-suited to the needs our growing brokerage. 

I organized and facilitated weekly training sessions and daily operational sprints to align with our strategic goals, which significantly improved loan processing times and boosted pipeline efficiency. 

Additionally, I maintained an ongoing report of Loan Officer (LO) performance to adapt our training schedule for continuous improvement in our processes. In response to the need for growth and more efficient data management, I led the integration of a new CRM system, which successfully improved our ability to track loan applications, manage compliance, and optimize risks. 

I also implemented active borrower management and nurture campaigns, which further reduced loan processing times and enhanced pipeline efficiency. My strategic thinking and problem-solving skills were crucial in swiftly addressing and resolving unforeseen issues during the loan process. Furthermore, I placed a strong emphasis on adaptability and crisis management training to ensure the team was well-equipped to handle challenges efficiently.

As a key member of our sub-prime origination team I was responsible for marketing outreach to originate mortgage applications.

I was adept in evaluating credit worthiness and field underwriting loan applications and gathering relevant documentation for processing.

 This required interviewing applicants to assess financial eligibility and the feasibility of granting loans, determining applicable financial ratios and metrics, and setting up debt repayment plans. 

I was required to communicate effectively with clients to either request or provide information, and justify and report on lending decisions, whether approvals or rejections. 

 I used cold calling, postal mail, email, developed referral networks, along with leveraging alternative channels to achieve personal and team quotas.

If there is one thing that the United States Air Force will teach you, is how to identify an objective. If you want to be successful in business you need to do the same. Identify the objectives of your clients, establish the optimal solution and then deliver on the solution. 
One way to identify objectives is to first examine the goals. Goals, or aims, are the long-term results of projects. They indicate what a business wants to achieve through a project. Objectives are shorter-term, practical routes to achieving goals. 
It is imperative that you convey the message that you know your clients' "Right Now "objectives and you have the solution to any hurtles on the way to achieving their long term goals. 
The most important part now is to deliver. Deliver on your promises as a business, you have to make sure your product or services reflect exactly what you advertised and promised.
