We are relational beings. When we love, we give from our full hearts.

To care. To support. To build something meaningful.

and There is nothing weak about that.

But responsibility without self-connection slowly becomes self-abandonment.

Not dramatically.

Not in one big sacrifice.

In small, reasonable adjustments.

When you adjust your tone to keep the peace.
When you adjust your needs because “this can wait.”
When you adjust your timing because others come first.
When you adjust your reactions because maturity means restraint.

And none of it feels wrong.

Until one day you feel lonely —
not because you’re unloved,
but because you’re unseen.

OTHERS TREAT US THE WAY WE TREAT OURSELVES.

WE ARE TRAINING PEOPLE ALL THE TIME! 

Sometimes you’re unseen
because you stopped showing your limits.

Because you thought love meant being steady, Low-maintenance and Capable.

This isn’t to blame but to bring awareness.

Now 2 things: 

1) If you love the other, why not give them a chance to feel good about themselves too? 

In the act of love, do we see the subtle ego of being the bigger person?

The hidden agenda of carrying the image?

2) You can be loving, responsible,
and still have boundaries.

Love doesn’t require disappearance.
It requires presence.

And presence includes you.

Start there.

A thought kept coming up repeatedly in my conversations with women over the past few years.

Many women lose friends as they grow.

Not intentionally.

Life simply changes.
Priorities shift.
People move in different directions.

And at some point, many women quietly start craving something deeper.

Not just social interactions.

But meaningful friendships.

Friendships where you can:
• speak honestly
• feel emotionally safe
• grow together
• support each other through life’s transitions

Yet finding such spaces is not always easy.

And that question stayed with me:

What if women had a space designed specifically for this?

A space where they could find their tribe.

That thought eventually became Heels on Wheels.

A community where like-minded women come together to build strong bonds and genuine support systems.

Within the community we:
• host regular conversations and sharing circles
• explore self-work and transformational practices
• connect deeply with each other
• and travel together to meaningful places with the right people

Over time, something beautiful has started happening.

Women who once felt alone in their journeys…
have started finding their circle.

PS. Meghalaya is one of the places I have visited where I have seen Women being equals not because they are proving something. But because it was meant to be normal. Their respect for feminine qualities like love, inclusion, collaboration, kindness, respect etc. made me want to share this picture.

Also celebrating what it looks like to create a balanced space. Not perfect, balanced. 

(Feminine qualities are not gender biased, but because women have more dominant traits, when humanity discards feminine qualities, it shuns women, impacts both genders unconsciously)

My husband always says he wants honesty from me.
So one day she tried.

Not yelling.
Not blaming.
Just honesty.

She said quietly,
“Sometimes I feel alone in this marriage.”
Silence.

Then he said,
“Why are you being so negative?”
She tried again.

“I’m not blaming you. I’m just telling you how I feel.”

His response?
“You always overthink things.”

And in that moment something painful became clear to her.

He didn’t really want honesty.
He wanted emotional comfort.

A calm wife.
A peaceful home.
No difficult conversations.

Honesty… as long as it didn’t disturb the emotional stability of the relationship.

And this is where many people get confused.
Because partners often say they want honesty.

But sometimes what they actually mean is:
“Be honest in a way that doesn’t challenge me.”

Real honesty in relationships isn’t tested when things are easy.

It’s tested when the truth creates discomfort.

Because honesty can mean things like:
Naming emotional distance.
Questioning certain patterns.
Expressing unmet needs.
Or refusing to pretend everything is fine.

And that requires emotional maturity to sit with.
Something many of us were never really taught.

So instead, something subtle begins to happen.
The system slowly trains one partner to become easier.

More agreeable.
More calm.
Less “too much.”

Over time, the honesty doesn’t disappear because there’s nothing to say.

It disappears because the person already knows how the conversation will end.

If you’ve ever had that moment where you think:
“Maybe I should just keep quiet.”

You know exactly what I’m talking about.
And that’s often the moment honesty quietly starts dying in a relationship.

If this feels familiar in ways you didn’t expect, it might be worth looking at more closely.

Are we experiencing the colors of life or perhaps it is life experiencing colors through us?

Like a silent artists,
and we are its brushes, 
or we are the paintings?
or maybe both. 

Perhaps it is not us experiencing life,
but life is experiencing itself
through the quiet corridors of our hearts.

Through us it tastes joy.
Through us it tastes sorrow.

Through us it learns
the shade of longing,
the warmth of love,
the deep indigo of solitude.

Some colors we celebrate.

The bright yellows of laughter.
The soft pink of tenderness.
The golden glow of belonging.

And some we try to erase.

The dark reds of anger.
The greys of confusion.
The heavy blues of grief.

But the canvas of existence
never rejected a color.

It simply allowed them all.

What we call good
and what we call bad
are often only names
we give to colors
we have not yet learned to hold.

Life itself
does not judge its own palette.

It does not say
this shade of pain is wrong
or this shade of joy is right.

It simply moves
from one color to the next,
creating something vast and mysterious—
a painting no single moment can explain.

Sometimes we resist the darker colors.
We try to wipe them away.

But transformation rarely arrives
in the bright shades alone.

Often it comes
in deeper tones.

The nights of confusion
that teach us clarity.

The losses
that carve space in our hearts
for a deeper love.

The questions
that slowly dissolve
old certainties.

Every color changes us.
Every color widens us.

And slowly, something softens within.

We stop fighting the palette.
We stop asking why this color arrived.

Instead we begin to see the miracle—
that the same life which dances in sunlight
also breathes through the storms.

That the same life which sings in celebration
also whispers in our silence.

And suddenly
even the darker shades become sacred.

Not because they are pleasant—
but because they belong.

Because life itself
is discovering every color of existence
through the miracle of being human.

Through you.
Through me.

And perhaps the invitation of life
is not to choose the right colors—
but to allow the whole painting.

To let joy arrive.
To let sorrow pass through.
To let love deepen.
To let confusion teach.

Until one day we see clearly—

It was never just our life.
