As a Senior SDE, I build large-scale solutions for real-world problems… But there were I almost QUIT!

For the past 3 years, I’ve been working with Java and Python, building features, fixing bugs, and developing apps using Spring Boot and MySQL.

But at one point… I hit a wall.

I would NOT have been a Senior SDE a in 2026 if I hadn’t known THIS before my switch 👇 

🔹 It doesn’t matter how many frameworks you’ve added to your resume.

We’re slowly realising that AI isn’t just a feature you add to a product.

It behaves more like infrastructure.

Once multiple teams start relying on it — marketing, ops, sales — the questions stop being about outputs and start being about control.

Who can modify logic?
How are agents coordinating?
Where is decision visibility?

That’s why I’ve been paying more attention to platforms that treat AI as a system layer, not a widget.
