One day, it got to that point.

I was forced to ask myself, "What do I really want?"

Every business I launched seemed to either trap me in a rut or just fail from the start. I can't lie, it was extremely discouraging.

Step 1: Market Research.

You wanna get a good picture of what the market looks like before you dive in.

AKA → Where you're going to clean.

A few things to think about:

• Average household Income
• Existent Franchises
• Population
• Wages

Step 2: Business Setup

All businesses will need to go through the standard administrative process.

Don't let this scare you.

Figure out:

• Payment processing
• Website domains
• Business name
• Bookkeeping
• Banking
• Email
• Logo

These are your foundations.

Step 3: Hire Cleaners

Cleaners are the lifeblood of home cleaning (there's no business without them).

This is a vital part of the process.

Cleaner checklist:

☐ Excellent communicator
☐ Extensive experience
☐ Full transparency
☐ Great attitude
☐ Tech savvy

A few tips on employee management:

1. Treat cleaners with respect
2. Maintain high standards
3. Get to know cleaners

Without marketing and sales, you won't be able to effectively fill your pipeline.

You MUST use several channels:

This is how you'll be physically running the business on a day-to-day basis.

Build systems for:

• Onboarding/offboarding cleaners
• Employee scheduling systems
• Bookkeeping requirements
• Management decisions
• Customer complaints
• Service delivery

Step 6: Automate & Delegate

Ask yourself this question:

Which operational vertical can I exit?"

Then, you can hire a VA (but still oversee everything) and work on scaling further.
