I spent last weekend in Grand Rapids with some of my favorite humans in their lovely new home. A quiet morning cortado at Madcap (iykyk) had me reflecting on the past few months and how many people have been in my corner over the years.

This is an appreciation post for the 'day ones' and everyone that picked up the phone while we were getting our sh*t together. The couches to sleep on, the shared connections, and challenging us when we needed it most. If we haven't caught up lately, your call is coming soon ... there's a long list to work through.

This has been almost a decade in the making...

Last week Eduardo Morales joined Dreambase.ai, and after years of hearing Kyle talk about how well they work together, I finally got to see it myself.

Ed shipped 10 PRs in his first week... a holiday week ... while getting up to speed on a new codebase.

Watching two engineers who've built together before is pretty special. They move fast because they don't have to explain everything and they challenge each other because there's already trust.

We're building for founders/developers who deserve better analytics tooling, and having Ed here makes that mission feel a lot more real.
