I am constantly on the look out to find innovative and exciting opportunities and I was fortunate enough to find such an opportunity in the Digital / Apps world.Together with my business partner we co-founded the global company SquashLab Ltd, where we develop apps for the sports and health/fitness worlds. We have successfully developed the SquashLab personal coaching app which is available to the global market , and endorsed by the 8 times World squash champion.

Intu-it was an incubation company which I co-founded 24 months ago, and we were fortunate enough to be in the right space at the right time. Our first client was Oracle Corporation , which we worked closely with to fine tune our product offerings. My stay with the company was relatively short lived in the bigger scheme of things, as it was the right time to step away and fold the entity back into the parent holding company.  
   
The type of roles that I played in the company ranged from creating the digital strategy and the operational business plan to working with the sales team to create the value proposition and pitch to the market and the focus areas to target as well as working with the development teams at all levels. 

I assisted with building and developing the products ,using agile and lean methodology with specific focus on sales needs analysis, governance models  from an audit and gap analysis perspective (ISO tools specifically) and creation of the implementation wizard process automation.

In many instances , I was asked to create business cases for clients to use and implement the robotic solution into their business, and I helped identify and measure the ROI measurements to be achieved.

In was necessary to work closely with the program delivery teams to implement the solution and ensured that customer success was achieved with clients.  

My main role in the business was to perform Business Development and generate sales and I worked extensively with sales teams to demonstrate the solution to prospects and managed the proposal process.

Owing to the rapid rate of innovation it was key that we stayed ahead of the game, and that required constant research around digital transformation trends and thought leadership of where digital is heading and how the intu-it tool set could keep up with the pace of change.

2020 / 2021 - Portfolio Deploy Lead ERP and HCM. Deployed Fusion ERP into two Operating entities (SA and Dubai) successfully.

2021 - Deployed Oracle HCM Fusion into 6 Operating entities in 6 months. Modules Oracle Core, Talent and Performance and Comp and Ben and Absense.
   
2019/ 2020 - Lead Global Template (GT) Build and Deployment of the Oracle Fusion ERP /SCM/ EAM / HCM / EPM solution for MTN Operating entities in Africa. Working with Oracle and managing the program team to configure and deploy the GT Build SaaS solution, build of PaaS extensions, integrations,interfaces and reports.Engage with key stakeholder OpCos for their deployment and roll out plans and dependency on GT Build. 

Ensure that the Oracle Fusion GT build is 'fit for  purpose' for the deployments into the Operations into Africa. Integrate with deployment teams and ensure that expectations are met in regards to what will be delivered as GT Build. 

Ensuring the MTN end to end business processes are mapped accordingly ,including the policies and procedures and processes incorporating the Oracle Fusion ERP cloud processes. Incorporate change impact assessments that have been identified in Design , into the GT Build , inline with OpCo expectations to unpack and build upon in their own environments. Leadership representation on Executive Steerco's in country and locally to report on progress headlines.

Responsible for the deployment of the Oracle Cloud GT solution and localisation into selected African Operating Companies. All aspects of deploy including Playbacks, data migration, Training, Adoption, UAT, Cutover and Hypercare.
  
Responsibilities include Stakeholder management, strategic thinking , Program Scope management of technical and functional aspects of ERP Fusion Cloud build, Timeline management and expectations, Risk and Impact management , Benefit realization as well as Stakeholder management of Build for Deployment into the Operating companies and setting correct expectations.

Gallup Certified Strengths Coach/Portfolio Leader Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM

PMO Lead of the Oracle Fusion ERP/SCM/EAM/HCM  Design (Engage, Focus and Refine) of the MTN Global Fusion ERP program. 

Oracle total cloud methodology (TCM) is the methodology used as well as agile project management methodologies. Business Adoption (transformation) ,master data management , IT transformation and PMO toolkit’s developed and adopted as part of global template. 

Responsible for a Team of 14 PMs reporting into me and working on the ERP cloud design. Responsible for project governance, quality assurance , delivery on timelines and budget, and risk management of program. Program value over $100M. 

Used  playback1 and playback2 approaches effectively and added our own techniques for greater adoption of Oracle modern best practices (MBP). 

Lots of lessons learnt on what works and what we could improve in our transformation adopt and adapt journey. Brought the GT Fusion ERP Design time lines in according to budget and timelines. 

Design and build of a global template is our main focus with a transition plan to how we move from design to deploy of GT Build into the various Operating companies into Africa.

The biggest challenge we faced was the successful delivery of quality solutions under sometimes impossible deadlines. Does this apply to your delivery?

Seem of the key activities I performed are the following:

1. Crafted and reviewed the  Oracle digital transformation ERP strategy for CellC program with CellC IT and Business executives
2. Crafted appropriate digital  transformation business cases for funding appropriation 	
3. Project delivery ,governance and reporting  
4. Worked closely with the Oracle implementation partner in an onshore/off-shore digital delivery model 
5. Created the strategy to perform the clean-up, reconstruction and reconciling of network assets within the organisation according to the CAM framework  
6. Managed the Proof of concept Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) system for management and tracking of network inventory 
7. Managed the delivery of the Common Asset Model (Fixed Asset) implementation
8. Managed the delivery of Oracle Incentive compensation implementation (OIC)
9. Managed the delivery of the Oracle ERP revised COA implementation
10. Managed the delivery of Oracle ERP Consolidations and reporting 
11. Managed the delivery of Oracle Cloud  Taleo Learning Management Solution implementation
12. Managed the delivery of Oracle ATG / SIM/Right Now web portal digital transformation self- service implementation
13. Managed the delivery of Oracle digital transformation Cloud /fusion HCM and Talent Management roadmap and programme implementation

Oracle ERP Program Director 

Econet Group

I experienced several challenges in this environment, the key challenge that I faced , was to build up a competent programme / project management centre of excellence in order to successfully manage the complex network and IT programs in South Africa and into Africa. 

I was responsible for the building up the Oracle EBS (ERP)division within the Group. This involved streamlining the support procedures and processes that were performed across the Group in the  Operations (4 Operations in Africa including Head Office), monitoring EBS projects that  were being performed and ensured that the business benefits were achieved.
  
I created the Group PMO which supplied project managers , aligned the Project management methodology with corporate governance principals across the Group, and was key in representng the PMO at Steering  Committee/Working committee meetings.

The Programmes/Projects that I successfully delivered on were:   
1. Project managed the Oracle Health Check and Review project  
2. Programme managed the Econet Fraud and Revenue implementation (SUBEX RA and FD modules) across the Group (3 Operations in Africa and Head office in SA)
3. Project managed Oracle Hyperion budgeting and planning , Oracle Strategic Finance implementations (including the African Operations, UK Operations and Head Office in SA)  - 12-14 month implementation
3. Programme Managed  Oracle ERP R12 Implementation (Financial, Supply Chain, Procurement, Asset Management and HRMS ) – 12  month implementation  roll out to Operations as well as another 6 to 12 months of support and stabilization 
4. Programme managed the Oracle ERP Business Process Alignment project 
5. Programme Management of the Initiation and Planning Phase of the Asset Management programme across the group   
6. Facilitated the Econet Group IT Strategic Planning  blueprint  
7. Programme  management of process redesign /streamlined  as well as configuration changes on Oracle Financials and Procurement

In my role I crafted strategy and business cases to create a compelling value proposition to the market which included bringing together existing core change management and training services into an offering/asset that would suit Oracle ERP projects. It also included building business development pipelines and partnerships and identifying and employing appropriate talent to resource the new offering. I achieved the following: 
a)	Certified ERP Partners
b)	Created a compelling ERP ’Change and Training’ methodology suited to ERP implementations (irrespective of the technology) 
c)	Significant business development and pipeline creation and closing of substantial deals in the LR Group’s offering domain

Management Executive

Accenture SA

As the Oracle ERP Senior Executive Lead my role was to lead and determine the ERP (Oracle) strategy for the local SA Accenture company as well as build in flexibility to fit into the Accenture Oracle global strategy. I was responsible for building up and managing the delivery (implementation) section of the business, creating awareness within the organisation and the capabilities of the applications, managing and assisting the business development opportunities within the ERP pipeline as well as acting as mentor and coach to my staff. I achieved the status of Certified Accenture Solutions Architect. This qualification allows me  to craft Oracle ERP solutions and estimate the size of the solution for any region within Accenture that required my assistance. Oracle ERP projects which I was the Executive Lead on : 

•MTN Group Oracle HRMS implementation and change management/training strategy and execution – deployment of Group Oracle HRMS to 21 OPCOs within Africa. Release 11i.
•Business development and client relationship executive from an Oracle SI perspective  on the MTN CRM Siebel programme
•Rand Merchant Bank – Implementation of Oracle general ledger and financial services accounting  hub for investment banking Release 12/Change Management and training strategy.
•Vodacom SA – Implementation of Oracle Siebel Sales Force Automation modules (e-communications and sales). Version7.8.
•Woolworths – Conference room pilot and implementation of Oracle ERP financials, projects, property and billing Release 12.

Oracle ERP Executive

I was invited into PRASA by the CIO to facilitate and craft their ICT Strategy with their current General Management team – this involved facilitation of strategic planning sessions and consolidation of the ICT Strategic Plan for PRASA Group. 

At PRASA I was responsible for the Programme Management of the SAP ERP Change Management steam.This was quite a complex role and involved expectation management at Steerco level, executive and management level, risk management and communications.
 
I consulted as an Independent advisor to MTN SA and Tracker. Both large Oracle ERP application programs. 

At MTN I project managed a major IS Change Management and organizational design restructure programme with the MTN IS executives, performed the role of Programme/Change Manager. I  also performed a review and recommendations study on the Oracle Project Office environment within MTN IS and recommended a way forward for the Project Office consolidation within IS, which MTN  adopted as a way forward.

At Tracker I was involved in an interim project /change management role assisting their BIS division with a restructuring exercise as well as setting the stage for an Oracle ERP implementation, project office and support environment for them whilst Tracker identified suitable management to fill these positions. I worked in partnership with the CIO with the future Oracle ERP e-Business suite implementation in the form of giving advice and guidance to the board members on the management of their expectations going forward into the future.

At COSA I performed a number of roles in setting up the applications implementation operations of the business as well as business development. I was instrumental in setting up effective implementation and change management methodologies in project managing the delivery of these projects.

I was the Director of Oracle EBS Division which consisted of Oracle System Administration, Oracle ERP Applications and Oracle Development divisions. Approx 100 resources.

I was a Director with IOCORE. In this position I  had just over 100 Oracle ERP and development consultants reporting to me  in a division that focused primarily on the implementation of Oracle technology projects (applications and development technology implementation).The main focus of IOCORE was in the ERP applications, database and development delivery areas. Instrumental in the Strategic Plan for the EBS area, performing SWOT analyses, prioritisation of issues and action plans that would be approved and implemented by the business unit heads who reported to me,

I fulfilled a number of roles within IOCORE during  my tenure. My major role was to start up and perform a Delivery/Project/Change Manager Director role for the majority of the company’s business focus. Milestone in my position was achievement that IOCORE gained Certified Oracle Advantage Partner status in the Oracle applications field owing to the excellent delivery capacity of the division. This was awarded in 2001 by Oracle in recognition of the good work. 

I performed the role of Project Director/Programme/Change Manager Management for some of the largest and strategic IOCORE projects:

•	Medscheme Oracle ERP application and customised development (24-month project)
•	Vodacom Oracle ERP application and development (12- to 18-month project)
•	Cell C Oracle ERP application and customisation  (12-month project)
•	Liberty Life Oracle development (24-month project)
