Here's a bit about me:

I’m a brand advisor for 6-7 figure creators and influencers.
I’m the guy they come to when they want to go from starving artist to highly-paid (and highly-praised) internet phenomenon.

I help them systemize their workflow, marketing, and content so they can work for 2 hours a day, charge more, and sell their products & services on autopilot.

I’m good at what I do because I test things on myself so I know what works and what doesn’t.

Because of this, I’ve grown my own personal brand to 150,000+ followers across different platforms, work for 2-4 hours a day on average, and have systems in place that keep the creative income flowing.

(Scratch that, I'm updating this bio 1.5 years later and have grown to 2.6 million followers with the strategies I have been writing about for that time).

It feels like I’m boasting... but I guess that’s a hit I’m willing to take to ease your worries of trusting some random dude with your time and attention.

I will, however, never apologize for aiming to be as transparent as humanely possible.

In this position, I was pushed to be innovative.

I had to find ways to strengthen the core of someone who could not fully sense their muscles. 

I had to help people lose weight through exercise when only half of their body could move. 

I had to regress and break down exercises to their most basic elements.

As I helped to rebuild the strength of a recovering SCI client whose goal was to be able to feed himself again. 

It was as rewarding as it was eye-opening. 

There is NO ONE whose quality of life cannot be greatly improved by getting stronger. 

No matter their level of injury or disability.

From this job, I took the knowledge of how to apply strength training to the most delicate situations. 

And how to strategically manipulate the many variables associated with weight loss. 

To situations of low physical activity and imposed physical restrictions. 

I will forever hold my experience at this rehab hospital in the highest esteem.

And will apply the valuable lessons learned to future clients who have physical and physiological limitations affecting their fitness.

I suffered a very bad back injury and gained 80lbs in 18 months. I was 2 years into being a fitness coach and thought I knew everything. Yet, when I couldn’t workout 12hrs per week, I discovered that my ‘perfect’ nutrition did nothing to keep me from gaining weight - even when I starved myself for months!

All the ‘conventional’ advice that I had given my clients - eat low fat, cut calories to lose fat, go to the gym everyday, get your cardio in, eat ‘negative calorie foods’… NONE of it worked anymore. That’s when I realized that I had been ‘getting away’ with bad nutrition by over-exercising. And that over-exercising caught up to me with a back injury.  I was stuck.

Not only was I frustrated and embarrassed, but I was also worried. Diabetes runs in my family. And I had promised myself that I would never let my body get ‘like this’ or ever let my health get to the point where a doctor would prescribe me medication. 

So, instead of turning to other ‘diets’ to follow. I started reading research, learning physiology, and trying to understand how genetics and your health history affects fat loss. And when I found the answer, it was the opposite of what everyone was saying. 

I started implementing what I learned not only with myself, but with my clients. The results I got for my clients (and myself) were life changing! Health issues resolved and stubborn fat dropped off like it was nothing. On top of that, they only exercised 2-3 hours per week!

And my clients with health conditions, who had been stuck for years, had 25+lbs to lose, and had been working with trainers/coaches for years with no results - they were completely stunned!

I knew I needed to bring what I learned to more women. Women like you. Who are suffering from health issues and are stuck with their fat loss.

It was at this point in my coaching career that I created the concept of Body Beyond Weight Loss.

Which follows my framework called "Health First Fat Loss."
