The reason I chose organisational psychology is because I couldn't think of a better way to capitalize on my control issues. 

Jokes aside, I love working with international teams and introducing them to alternative, healthier ways to achieve excellence through leadership development and organizational design, while empowering workplace mental health and DEI.

HOW I DO IT 🌸 I improve organizational effectiveness by strategically aligning leadership programs, coaching & training, learning & development, and employee-engaging communications with company goals to deliver transformative change – all while measuring the effectiveness of solutions and iterating with data-driven strategy improvements. I design team-building and bonding games, employee trainings, to-know-us-better activities and sensitivity interactive seminars in order to empower mental health, equality and diversity in the workspace. Finally, I create psychometric tools and performance evaluation systems to map corporate culture and add value in the recruitment processes.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS 🌸 Trained public health leaders in leadership under extreme stress in war-conflicted Ukraine. Designed and executed a culture change project that lead to the company being listed as Best Workplace at the Best Workplaces Hellas 2025 awards by Great Place To Work® Hellas. I was recently invited to the BeWell Movement  podcast to talk about something many people feel at work, but usually struggle to name.

#Mobbing.

And I did. But I didn’t only focus on the the obvious, loud kind, but also the subtle, everyday behaviors that slowly wear you down and make you question yourself.

My #leadership workshop at Merck Healthcare was exactly as  a workshop with a high profile leadership team should be:

🌸Deep. 
🌸Intense.
🌸Courageous. 
🌸Curious.

And what made it powerful wasn’t so much the content, as it was the space.

In leadership workshops like this, the real work doesn’t happen when people speak the loudest but when there is enough psychological safety for them to pause, reflect, and say the things they usually keep to themselves.

#teambuilding at this level isn’t about icebreakers or forced enthusiasm.
It’s about creating conditions where leaders feel safe enough to:
👉🏻question their own assumptions
👉🏻admit uncertainty
👉🏻disagree without escalating
👉🏻listen without preparing their next defense

And as a #keynote speaker, let me tell you this: that’s exactly where workshops are fundamentally different from keynotes.

In a keynote, the spotlight is on me.
My role is to inspire, provoke, challenge from the stage, create an “aha” moment to the audience.

In a workshop, the spotlight is on them.
My role is to facilitate, not perform.
To ask the right questions, not give all the answers.
To hold the space steady enough so leaders can do the real work, with each other.

And when I do that right, I feel the energy in the room shifting. 
People stop “participating” and start contributing.
They move from defending positions to exploring perspectives.
They stop talking about leadership and start actually practicing it.

That’s the difference.
And that’s why I’ll always choose workshops and trainings when the goal is real and deep change.

I’ve joined several discussions over the years on #creativity , from panel talks and keynotes to podcasts and comment exchanges.

What they usually have in common is that people are searching for tangible, hands-on #tips on how to become more creative.

So let’s do that.

This time, I won’t talk about the research. 
Instead, I’ll share what I’ve actually tried and what has genuinely helped me over the years:

1)Engage in random creative side quests
Pretty much the “Yes experiment.”
Saying yes to things I would normally say no to just for the experience, just to see where it leads.

2)Build creative routines
Journaling. Writing. Giving yourself small creative tasks and riddles.
This summer I tried Austin Kleon's creative journal and for a whole month I completed one task per day.

*The results*
a) I felt more creative throughout the day
b) I learned new things and expanded my creative horizons
c) The creativity sparked by the book’s exercises DID generalize. After a while I started generating innovative ideas in completely different areas of my life, including my business.

3) Hang out with creative people
We are not coconuts falling from a tree. We are products of our cohorts.
The biggest artists and thought #leaders of every era were part of the same circles, clubs, or cafés.
Creativity is also a lifestyle choice. So choose people whose lifestyle inspires the one you want to live.

4) Start a creative hobby
I wrote recently about this, I picked up painting even though I had NEVER touched a brush before.
It has made me more observant of my surroundings and more mindful, which, interestingly, has also made me more creative.

5) Admire the creative people around you
Have you heard the motto: “Until it’s my turn, I will be clapping for others”?
Exactly that.
Follow creative people. Text them. Collect creative stimuli. Open your eyes and your heart.
Other people shouldn’t be a source of jealousy. They can be a source of benchmarking and inspiration.

Bringing Georgia Panagopoulou to my vodcast, was one of the best creative decisions I made last year.

There. I said it. 

When we talk about rebranding ourselves, and finding our niche, we need to be taking our advice by people who have actually gone through this journey themselves, as this isn’t the kind of thing you can pick up from a book. 

And that’s exactly what Georgia has done, several times through her #socialmedia persona : Wine Gini.

She found a niche that hadn’t been touched in a new platform, she started experimenting with content, she then became a full on #entrepreneur and started her boutique #marketing agency for wine producers and stores.

We talked about self- leadership, we talked about mentorship, we talked about #burnout and influencer culture. 

And usually I jump directly into the topic with my guests, but not with her. 
I asked her to share her personal story.

Rebranding yourself

I know Niven Postma dislikes the word empowerment… but meeting her was indeed very empowering 😅

We talk a lot about #mentorship in here, and of course, we also post a lot about #women supporting women.

We (and I) really like to celebrate big movements, panels and feminist campaigns. 

But women supporting women is not a headline.
It’s a decision made one REAL interaction at a time.
And as I’ve said many times, big-scale activism is not the same as supporting the woman next door.

If anything, I would say that big scale activism is actually easier, as an important aspect of supporting the woman next-door we don’t touch on quite often, is that it’s not just about visibility. It’s mostly about availability. Actually, literally, be there to support (or mentor) her when she needs it. 

And that’s exactly the case here.

Niven didn’t owe me anything.
And yet, she took the time to get on a call with me and give me thoughtful, honest advice on my book. Not generic encouragement but real, hands- on, tangible #tips that can help me immediately. 

That kind of support is rare. 
And it’s transformative. 
Because sometimes, when a person is hungry, that’s not really the time to teach them how to fish. 
That’s the time to order them a pizza.

Do you know what “disappointing #affirmations” are?

They’re the perfect sarcastic response to a world that has overdosed on toxic positivity.

“Everything happens for a reason.”
“Just stay positive.”
“Good vibes only.”
“Smile, it could be worse.”

Toxic positivity is the pressure to feel good even when things are objectively bad.
It’s the subtle (or not so subtle) message that difficult emotions are a failure of #mindset. That sadness means you’re ungrateful. That anger means you’re immature. That anxiety means you just need better morning routines.

But emotions shouldn’t be viewed as +/- but as data.
And data that gets suppressed, leaks.

When we try to sand down every sharp feeling into something Instagrammable, we lose something essential. Edges.

And edges create edges.

When life has sharp edges like grief, rejection, disappointment, injustice,  the healthy response is not glitter. 
It’s an emotion with an edge.

Anger in the face of unfairness, sadness in the face of loss, frustration when something matters and it’s not working.

Flat #positivity in an edgy situation creates internal dissonance.

So it’s not about good or bad emotions. It’s about emotions that match the state that I’m in, and the situation I’m experiencing.

Having said that… 
which disappointing affirmation matches your current morning mood? 👀
