and you’ll be able to understand the monthly financial reports.

DWY (do it with you): 

If you’re not looking for a bookkeeper but just need some advice,

Can we talk about how it’s totally okay to change the way you work?

This year, I did things differently as a social media manager and honestly, it surprised me how much it helped.

Here is what I did 👇

1/ I built my systems + a teeny tiny team 

✔ Finally created repeatable and reliable systems 
✔ Got comfortable delegating and trusting people
✔ Gave myself actual space and breathing room 

2/ I actually invested in learning (for real this time)

✔ Yes, I studied social media, audience  psychology, and the algorithms
✔ Completed 3 major certifications that leveled up my strategy and skills

3/ I changed how I show up online 

✔ I posted less but posted strategically
✔ Stopped pumping out content out of pressure 

And the biggest difference? 
Introverted me made some real-life friends! 🌷🩷 

✔ Met people in person 
✔ Built genuine relationships


I know all these changes are not massive but they made me feel so much more aligned! 

So if your year looked different from the hustle-playbook, that’s more than okay.

If you slowed down, focused and learned something new, that’s some great progress too!

These are the things I did this year as a social media manager that helped me more than any SMM guide could ever! 


1/ I stopped treating algorithm like my BOSS 

If it didn’t fit the algo guide or feed its ego,
I let it go. The world didn’t end! 

2/ I started saying NO more often 

Yup, I said no to unrealistic deadlines, to being there on 3+ platforms and strategies that didn’t align with long-term goals

3/ I posted content that didn't perform well

Metrics, likes and reach isn't everything. You can get 100+ likes and still reach 0 target audience! 

I know not everyone will agree with this approach and that’s totally fine! 

But these choices helped me grow, breathe, and do better work!
