Go on, complain again about AI. It will make no difference. AI won't care, nor will the people using it, from individuals through to big business. 

AI is not going away. Whinging like a sook about it will only make you look foolish. 

AI won't make you dumber or lazy. Done right it will improve your intelligence and make you more productive. 

Yes there will be AI slop, but everything can be slop, and you buy it throught Temu. But just because it's AI made doesn't automatically make it slop. 

There will always be a need for human made content. As a former tradesman, there were plenty of times it was quicker to turn up something on a manual lathe then programming a CNC lathe. 

Stop complaining, learn how to utilise AI and make your life easier.

enough money, low drama, and time with the right people.

In my 20s, I overcomplicated it:
→ More money
→ More status
→ More everything
→ More “networking”

But “more” quietly came with:
→ More noise
→ More stress
→ More people I didn’t actually vibe with

Starting my “new thing” never feels cute. 
It feels heavy. Awkward. Exposed.

Every time I try something new, it’s the same pattern:

𝗗𝗮𝘆 1 →
I overthink everything.
Is this the right habit?
Will I even stick with it this time?

𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 2 →
It still feels clumsy.
The workout is hard.
The side hustle is slow.
The content gets 3 likes.

Somewhere between “this is too much” 
And “I’ll just skip today”,
There’s a boring little bridge called practice.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲, 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱:
→ How I manage money
→ How I approach work
→ How I stay consistent with habits

None of it became easy overnight.

It just became… normal.

What felt heavy at the start
Now feels like part of who I am.

If you’re on your own Day 1 with something —
gym, content, saving, side gig

Don’t judge it by how it feels today.
Judge it by whether you’re still there in 30 days.

Starting feels heavy.
Later feels natural.
If you keep going.

You’re not bad at it.
You’re just on Chapter One.

That’s the part no one likes to hear.
We all want “Day 1 energy” and “Year 5 results.”

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀:
The first honest conversation feels uncomfortable.
The first gym session feels awkward.
The first side project feels pointless.
The first budget feels restrictive.

On paper, it looks like you’re bad at it.
In reality, you’re just early.

𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲:
 → The more you do it, the easier it feels.
 → The more time you spend, the more it makes sense.
 → The more you stay consistent, the better ur results get.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲:
when it’s not fun
when it’s not smooth
when it’s not pretty enough for social media

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗻?
They treat “rough” as a tunnel, not a wall.

So if it feels messy right now—good.

That’s how it’s supposed to feel at the start of something worth doing.

Keep going.

It will start rough.
But it will get better and better.

I finally realised my “life plan” forgot the main thing:

"me"


For a long time, my life was basically:

Wake → Work → Scroll → Sleep → Repeat.

I was “busy” all the time…
But if you’d asked me what I was actually building,
I wouldn’t have had a clear answer.

One night, it hit me.

I was on the couch, half-awake after work,
scrolling money posts and “live your dream life” quotes…
while ignoring the facts:

My steps were low.
My energy was lower.
My time with people I love was squeezed into leftovers.

I realised I was treating 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 version of me
like a temporary placeholder.

“Once things calm down, I’ll focus on my health.”
“Once I earn more, I’ll think about freedom.”
“Once I’m less tired, I’ll be more present.”

But if you zoom out, life is just one line:

TIME GONE | 𝗜 𝗔𝗠 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 | TIME LEFT

I’m standing in the early middle of that line 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄.
This is not a demo version of my life.
This is it.

So I started thinking in “versions”:

Current project: Me 2.3 (work in progress)

What I’m actively updating:

→ Health
Food that doesn’t knock me out at 3 pm.
Small walks instead of mindless scrolling.
Actual bedtimes instead of “one more reel.”

→ Wealth
Learning about money so future-me isn’t panicking.
Automatic transfers on payday.
A quiet weekly money check-in.

→ Relationships
Texting people back now, not “later.”
Walks, coffees, calls with the ones who matter.
Less “we should catch up” and more “Tuesday 7 pm?”

No dramatic makeover.
Just small patches, every week.

I still have big goals.
I still care about career, wealth and freedom.

But my favourite project is making sure
the person who gets to enjoy all that
is healthy, present, and actually likes his own life.

So that when I look at that line
𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲 | 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 | 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁
—I’m proud of how this version of me showed up.

The most discouraging part of investing?
When it feels like 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚.

You move a bit of money every month,
check the app…

And your brain whispers:
“Honestly, what’s the point?”

I lived in that phase for a long time.
Small deposits felt like throwing drops into the ocean.
If it wasn’t a big jump, it felt useless.

But here’s what I missed:

On the surface, it’s just...

→ A boring auto-invest
→ A tiny transfer on payday
→ A bit extra into a savings buffer

Nothing to screenshot.
Nothing to brag about.

Every “just a bit” is doing this:

→ Cash buffer
So one broken appliance or surprise bill
doesn’t send you into panic.

→ Core investments (Gold, Bitcoin, Stocks, etc.)
That slowly compound in the background while you live your life.

→ Long-term assets (like property over time)
That can support future cashflow and options.

One brick feels like nothing.
Ten bricks still don’t look like a house.

But keep stacking,
And one day you realise you’ve built:

→ Safety
→ Real choices
→ Breathing room

So now, when a contribution feels tiny,
I don’t ask, “Will this change my life today?”

I ask, “Is this one more brick in the life I’m building?”

If it feels slow, that’s normal.
Compounding always feels like “just a bit”
right up until it doesn’t. 💚

I was upgrading my life and downgrading my health at the same time.

For most of my 20s, I was obsessed with...
→ Career
→ Wealth
→ Dreams
→ Relationships

If I was busy, exhausted and “doing a lot”…
I thought I was on track.

Health & energy?
That was the thing I’d “sort out later.”

Late nights.
Skipping workouts.
Too much screen time.
Weekend recovery instead of weekend living.

𝗢𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆:
→ Income going up.
→ Future plans in place.
→ LinkedIn looking good.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲:

I was physically present with people I love… but mentally wiped.
I was planning big goals… with a body that felt constantly tired.
I had money for experiences… but no energy to enjoy them.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲:

Health & energy isn’t another goal on the list.
It’s the “1” 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 “0.”

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁:

1️⃣ 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿
A strong career with low energy =
dragging yourself through meetings and living for Fridays.

2️⃣ 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵
More money with poor health =
spending later trying to “buy back” what you lost.

𝗦𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲-𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳:

Sleep is not “wasted time,” it’s future energy.
Walks and workouts are not “nice to have,” they’re non-negotiables.
Saying no to one more late-night scroll is saying yes to tomorrow’s focus.

𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗜 𝗮𝘀𝗸:

→ Does this lifestyle give me energy or steal it?
→ Am I building a life my body can actually handle?
→ Will future-me thank me for this pace… or resent it?

𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁:
career, wealth, relationships, dreams.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱:
If the “1” (health & energy) drops to 0...
Every other number instantly loses its meaning.

Protect the 1.
So every 0 actually counts.

→ You freeze, complain, wait.

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 2. “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲?”
→ You observe, adjust, move.

The gap between those two isn’t motivation.
It’s "Attitude".

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:

From “I have to” → “I will get to”
From “I’m stuck” → “I haven’t found the way yet”
From “This is hard” → “This is how I get stronger”
From “They’re ahead” → “They’re proof it’s possible”

You can’t control every event.
You can control the story you tell yourself when it happens.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀:
→ the risks you take.
→ the effort you bring.
→ the doors you even notice.

Change your attitude by 1 degree today.
And your direction is completely different in a year.

Not overnight.

But absolutely, inevitably, over time.

𝗦𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳:
Is my attitude taking me where I say I want to go?

When I stopped forcing one big plan and started testing small ones, the signals got loud.

For most of my 20s,
I tried to think my way into the perfect plan.

Perfect niche.
Perfect routine.
Perfect business.

I’d overthink for weeks…
Then do nothing.

What’s working better for me now is simple:

Try many ideas.
Follow the signals.

I experiment with things like:
→ Ways of talking about money and freedom
→ Different ways of working
→ Routines for health
→ Business ideas

Most of them are… fine.
Not life-changing.
Not a disaster.

But a few things give off clear signals:

→ I get curious instead of drained
→ Opportunities show up around that thing
→ Sometimes, money follows without a big pitch
→ People naturally reply, ask questions, or want more

Those are my green lights.
That’s where I double down.

Instead of forcing myself to love a path,
I pay attention to:

🟢 What are others quietly telling me I’m good at?
🟢 What do people keep asking for my help with?
🟢 Where do people keep pulling more from me?
🟢 What do people thank me for most often?
🟢 Where do I feel proud of my work?
🟢 When do I feel most like myself?
🟢 What do I lose track of time doing?
🟢 What kind of problems do I like solving?
🟢 What feels easy for me but hard for others?
🟢 Where did a small effort create a big result?
🟢 After doing it, what makes me think, “I’d do that again”?

I don’t need a perfect 10-year plan.
I just need to keep testing small things,
Then follow the signals that life, people, and my own energy give back.

If you’re feeling stuck, maybe you don’t need *more thinking*.
You need one small experiment—
and the courage to listen to what it tells you.

Treat 5 years like a mission.
So the next 50 don’t feel like a prison.

That’s the trade most people say they want…

But almost no one is willing to make.

 𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:

→ Skills that compound.
→ Money that works harder than you do.
→ Systems that make income show up when you’re not “on the clock.”

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 50 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀?
They’re not about never working again.
They’re about never being trapped again.

You work because you want to, 
not because the rent is due.

You choose projects, people, and places.

You can walk away from any job, any boss, any city… 
and be fine.

Most people stretch 50 years of comfortable average
instead of 5 years of focused intensity.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼:

Live below your ego.
Invest aggressively in skills and assets.

So yeah..
Treat 5 years like a mission.
You will unlock a life where your time belongs to you.

If your money could talk...
Would it say “I bought flex” 
or “I bought freedom”?

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻:
Their money chases impressions.
(not progress)

New car to feel successful.
New outfit to feel “on brand.”
New phone to feel “up to date.”

Looks good on the outside.
Feels empty on the inside.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁?

Instead of this…
$900/month on a car repayment
to look successful in traffic.

→ $900/month into an investment property

Rent coming in to help cover the mortgage.

Over time, rent can increase.
(while your repayment stays similar)

The gap becomes cash flow you can use or reinvest.

𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆’𝘀 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀:

Interest, 
Maintenance, 
And other costs 

...can often be tax-deductible.

Depreciation and expenses can reduce how much tax you pay.

Same monthly outflow.

But now your tenant and the tax system are helping you build equity,
instead of just funding a fast-depreciating car.

Instead of this…
$2,000 on the latest iPhone and a wardrobe refresh
because “I deserve it.”

→ $2,000 into Bitcoin, gold, or stocks

In 3–5 years:
That iPhone will be in a drawer.
Those clothes will be worn out.

But well-chosen assets can still be working for you.

You’re not just buying stuff.

You’re buying time.
You’re buying options. 
You’re buying freedom later.

And about debt…
Debt isn’t automatically bad.

𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀:
Credit cards for lifestyle.
Loans for toys.
“Buy now, pay later” for things that lose value fast.

That’s debt that takes from you.

𝗗𝗲𝗯𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵:
A solid investment property in a good rental area.
A business with a clear plan to make more than it costs.

Here, other people (tenants, customers) help pay it down.
...while the asset has a chance to grow.

That’s debt that can work for you.

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗮𝘀𝗸:
Am I financing status… or am I financing growth?

Because 10–20 years from now,
your life won’t show what you wanted.

It’ll show what you chose to finance.

I thought I had a money problem… 
until I realised my time was the real mess.

...no money trick will fix the exhaustion.

𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 *𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲* 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀:

→ 50% – Work
(what pays me today)

→ 25% – Health + Relationships
(what keeps me sane)

→ 25% – Future-building
(learning, content creation, investing, planning)

Nothing changed overnight.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗹𝘆:

→ I felt less drained
→ I stopped needing random purchases to cope
→ I had more energy to build the life I want

When your time budget changes,
Your money story quietly follows.

Just watched a 1 hour 54 minute podcast with Elon Musk.

Here are 6 things I found interesting.

Spoiler alert:
He shares how he thinks the world will look in the next 10–15 years.

1. 𝗫 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲

He doesn’t see X as “just another social app.”

He sees it as a global town square:
→ A place where anyone can post, read and reply
→ With video, audio, calls and auto-translation
→ So people in every language can talk to each other in real time

If that works, X becomes like a shared brain for the planet.
Millions of people.
One big conversation.

2. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲

He compares humanity to a body:

One cell can’t build a rocket.
But trillions of cells working together can.

Same with people.

The more we connect and share ideas,
the smarter our “collective mind” gets.

On the meaning of life, his view is simple:
We don’t just need “the answer.”
We need to ask better questions.

Expanding human consciousness =
better questions about the universe.

3. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

He ignores day-to-day stock noise.

He asks three basic questions:

→ Do you honestly like the product or service?
→ Does it look like it will keep getting better?
→ Do you believe in the people building it?

A company is just a group of people making things.
So the real bet is:
Will these people keep making better things over time?

4. 𝗔𝗜, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 & “𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲”

He thinks AI + robots will change work completely.

In 10–20 years, he believes:

→ Most material needs can be met
→ People won’t need to work to survive
→ Work becomes more like a hobby or creative outlet

You work because you want to,
not because you’ll miss rent if you stop.

5. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 & 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

His view of money is very practical:

Money is just an information system
for who does what and who gets what.

Take a trillion dollars to an empty island?
It’s useless if there’s no one to work, build or grow food.

In a far-future world where AI and robots do almost everything,
and everyone’s needs are met,
he thinks money will matter less.

What matters then?

Energy.
The ability to generate and control it.

That becomes the real “currency” in a very advanced society.

6. 𝗨𝗦 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘁, 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱

He’s worried about US debt:
→ The government owes a lot
→ Interest payments are huge

His view:
The only real way out is massive productivity growth
from AI and robotics.

His simple formula:

If money supply grows faster than real stuff → inflation

If real stuff grows faster than money supply → deflation

If AI makes the world produce far more goods and services,
faster than new money is printed,
prices could start falling instead of rising.

Which of these ideas do you think will actually come true?

In my 20s, a “good life” was:
latest iPhone, nice car, big title.

In my early 30s, it’s something completely different.
I broke it down here 👇

How my definition of a “good life” has changed?

You don’t need more money. 
You need more mornings that feel light.

I'm 30 years old now.
I realised something important:

A pay raise felt hollow if I was too tired to enjoy it.
Or too busy to be present with the people I love.

Research backs this up:
 → Once your basic needs are covered...
More income doesn’t linearly increase happiness.

 → People with better work–life balance report...

Lower stress.
Better sleep.
Stronger mental health.

That changed how I define success:

✅ Presence over paycheck
✅ Energy over exhaustion
✅ Peace over pressure

Because what’s a bigger bank balance worth if you’re too drained to:
 ↳ Enjoy a sunset with your partner
 ↳ Take your dog for a walk
 ↳ Or just catch your breath on a random Tuesday morning?

Wealth is still part of the journey.
But the real goal is a life where you wake up feeling… good.

The older I get, the more I care about is how I feel. (not just what I earn)

If your life plan doesn’t fit on a napkin, 
it’s too complicated.
(My 12 quiet rules):

 • keep learning skills that compound.
 • work on something you care about.
 • notice one thing to be grateful for.
 • eat food your grandparents knew.
 • laugh with people who know you.
 • walk away from drama + gossip.
 • say what you mean, kindly.
 • sleep well, wake up early.
 • spend less than you earn.
 • own things that pay you.
 • move your body daily.

None of this is urgent. 
But all of it matters.
