Being productive at work can be a challenge when the tasks aren’t exactly the fun ones. If you have ADHD you know the deal… you need little rituals just to get started.

I used to listen to everyone around me telling me what I should do and how I should do it. But being told what to do never goes down well in the ADHD handbook.

What has actually helped me in work and in life is this:

👉🏻 Trying things that help
👉🏻 Working out what genuinely works for me
👉🏻 Testing things for myself
👉🏻 Getting out of my comfort zone

People sometimes say once you have met one neurodivergent mindset you have met them all.
If we are being real, every experience is different.

Some of us need classical music, some need visuals, some need accountability, and most of us need an urgent deadline to suddenly become world class at finishing something we ignored for three days.

I really enjoy classical music but sometimes me vs ADHD feels like a full night at the Proms. The music kicks in and suddenly I am the main character doing ballerina moves in my chair just to get through the day.

But that is the point. You do what you need to do to make your brain work. There is no right way, only your way.

Sometimes just getting to work and actually working is an achievement in my eyes.

💡Fun fact: People with ADHD are scientifically proven to unlock 300% more productivity the moment they remember a task is due in 9 minutes. ( Study conducted internally by my own panic.)

What’s one tiny unhinged habit that keeps you functioning at work… but you’d deny it instantly if someone asked?
