As Marketing Lead and Co-Lead Oragnizer, I helped rebuild Founded in FoCo (formerly Fort Collins Startup Week) after Covid. The annual week-long conference welcomes 600+ attendees and features educational sessions by 100+ local experts and is the place to spark new ideas, learn from peers, and build relationships.
Founded in FoCo is made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers and partners who understand the power of community to inspire and sustain entrepreneurship, small businesses, nonprofits, solopreneurs and ventures across industries and sectors.
Key accomplishments:
* Launched Advisory Team to engage key partners and shape vision for the event
* Streamlined key planning and operational processes to ease burden on all-volunteer team and create consistency for potential speakers, volunteers, and partners including new Session & Proposal Application Process and software with blind-submission review.
* Implemented Year-Round community engagement strategies to grow awareness, volunteer recruitment,  sponsorship, and partnerships
* Created sliding scale ticket option to diversify event revenue while maintaining commitment to the event being welcoming and accessible regardless of economic status.

Expanded direct mail program from two appeals per year to comprehensive donor renewal, lapsed, and acquisition program. Helped develop marketing concepts for direct mail & digital campaigns and worked with internal and consultant team to maximize website conversions from search, social media, and organic traffic. Directed the the end-of-year online campaign annually which raised more than $3m online three years in a row. Hi, I'm Charles. I'm a marketer and operations leader and bring 14+ years of experience to my clients and partners as founder and strategist at KimberDigital. I'm fascinated by why people take action and how to improve that experience with a knack for seeing how disparate parts fit together to solve for opportunity and growth. This drives my work to develop campaigns, build customer experiences, and collaborate to drive revenue growth. I've worked at startups, national non-profits, and community organizations.

Outside of work, I enjoy meeting people who are making things happen, I'm passionate about the arts, and I'm a proud foster parent with my husband, Sean.

Most recently, I was the VP of Marketing at Mingle Health, a healthcare technology company. Previously, I was the Manager of Annual Giving and Digital Engagement at Partners In Health, where I helped raise tens of millions of dollars to provide healthcare to the poorest of the poor in Haiti and around the world. I had the opportunity to build the next phase of the annual giving program using email marketing, direct mail, and multi-channel campaigns.
