When I write, I do it with the prose of a literary author and the problem-solving skills of an adept chess player. 

I read Thomas Wolfe, Chekhov, and Osamu Dazai to devour every word, paying keen attention to prose and alien vocabulary, often taking a step back to ponder and recreate, giving birth to my creative self.

Literature aside, chess makes my heart jump out of my chest with exuberance. And as I look up to the likes of Hikaru Nakamura and Eric Rosen, I’m continuously learning how Pawn b4, Knight f6, and Bishop e5 win you the game. During a match, I’m not only a calm, sophisticated opponent but also a problem-solver and creative challenger, finding solutions to difficult positions and looking for moves that leave my opponent with bated breath. 

Yet, my work does not define me. I define it with passions that bring forth creative emotions, wonder, and a hunger to be better and sturdier.
